Outlaws is a pretty fun, if never quite amazing game. Most of the individual aspects of the game are very well executed, but somehow the overall experience is less than the sum of its parts. Nevertheless, for any classic FPS fan, this game is certainly worth a shot. PROS: - Great gunplay mechanics, even if the hit detection is not always consistent - Fantastic story and cutscenes, miles ahead of any other FPS game at that time - Fun setting and tone - Great soundtrack and audio design - Solid remaster that retains the original aesthetic CONS: - Absurd asking price, there is no reason for this to cost more than $10 - The level design, especially in the second half, is extremely repetitive - A few surprising performance issues, including crashing and some audio problems

Definitely a product of its time, but I'm having a blast playing it! Nothing really outstanding regarding gameplay and storyline, just good old-fashioned shooting of the bad guys. Instead of remastering, Lucasfilm probably could've done a sequel with modern effects... not with modern stories and sensibilities though.

This reload time is exhilarating !" - Ocelot, MGS3 If you love western movies and especially the gunfights, this 1997 shooter gives you exactly the feeling of being in the middle of one through it's (at the time) unique mechanic : Making you reload each bullet individually. Creating tense and fast paced gunplay even though the game can be a little jank at times. And the soundtrack is amazing.
Well worth the money, plays extremely smooth, great visual and audio quality, and comes with a lot of extras and behind the scenes content.
