Outhold is a short, strategic incremental game that blends tower defense with a deep meta-progression. Experiment with builds and find overpowered synergies to defend the dwindling fires of Outhold.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Aug 25 → 3.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I would say it's good enough for it's price, but honestly I won't be playing more then once.

재밌는데 너무 짧다. 미니멀한 그래픽으로 타워디펜스가 가진 본연의 순수 재미를 느낄 수 있다.

Outhold is a minimalist tower defense game with light roguelite elements. This is a very strange "qualified yes" review -- I'd normally give the game a "no" for being too short and not fully exploring its gameplay ideas, but (A) the game is quite cheap, and (B) the demo covers 80% of the game's quality. So this review is not "yes, buy Outhold," but "yes, play Outhold's demo, then give the developer $5 (or whatever the sale price is) if you want to reward them." The UI on Outhold is iffy. Lacking keyboard shortcuts, one must (sometimes quickly!) click tiny little buttons to deploy/upgrade towers. That said, the game's graphical minimalism yields exceptional clarity, minimizing the damage from lack of shortcuts. Whether that minimalism is "beautiful" or "boring" is in the eye of the beholder -- I personally found it more "unvarnished" than meeting a specific aesthetic. The game's audio is fine, with music you can ignore or turn off and sound effects that give a good indication of what's going on and aren't annoying. Overall, the experience of interacting with the game is a bit below average, but not a dealbreaker. The actual gameplay of Outhold is mostly quite good. The different towers and enchantments function well both at a strategic level (which ones do I bring to this mission?) and a tactical one (which ones do I place where and when?). The enemies are varied and bring with them a varied set of challenges. The alternate mission goals are mostly interesting. Unfortunately, the game is marred by two major issues: first, it is *very* short. There are 10 levels, 9 of which have multiple modes (half of which are only unlocked once you've beaten every level). The second is that the game is on the easy side in its second half. It was not unusual for me to complete a level on my first attempt, occasionally while completing all alternate goals at once. This part of why I recommend the demo over the full game -- it's higher difficulty and implicit statement that "this not the full experience" work well -- the actual game doesn't add enough and isn't challenging enough to score full marks. Technically, the game is nice -- it start fairly quickly, handles play in a window well (though note you need to use its built-in window sizes -- resizing the window by hand breaks mouse alignment), and isn't a resource hog. Overall, Outhold is in a weird position -- it's not terribly novel, but it does what it does well, but it's very short and most of the post-demo content is too easy. The free demo is strongly recommended and, if you enjoy it enough, supporting the creators is an option.
super !!
An awesome tower defense game I suck at :(
very calm gameplay
