Named Game of the Year 2019 by Giant Bomb, Polygon, Eurogamer, and The Guardian, Outer Wilds is a critically-acclaimed and award-winning open world mystery about a solar system trapped in an endless time loop.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 48/day in the week to Aug 22 → 45.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
It is truly a one of a kind game and one of the best games I ever played.
There's nothing quite like it! It's one of those games that you know everyone should play and you're frustrated that you can't convince everyone about this simple fact :)

Un jeu qu'on doit faire une fois dans ça vie
This is one of the greatest games I have played and I've played a lot of different ones. It is easy amongst the top five. Not only it is incredible, but it has only very few flaws (like 2 or 3) and minimal ones at that. The story is incredible and touching, very interesting, breathtaking, mysterious, mindblowing, etc. It is a tale about loss, accepting death and loss, discovery, mystery, and of course science. Characters are good but are a bit missing when it comes to character development, especially since they can't really get any character development for most since they are either dead either caught in the time loop... Sometimes you really feel like you're alone and nobody is there to help you at all... Which can be sightly annoying sometimes. Still for some characters, you will get new dialogue options if you discover new things, so that's good, but several characters (and there are not a lot of characters) will never tell you anything more than their first dialogue. Another great point in the story is that there is not ONE thing that is left without answer. Well actually there WAS one, but the DLC is fully committed to solve this one, and does with brio. All other point in the games can be answered by hints and details in the game. ALL! It was not always the case and there used to be some minor points of the story or the world without answers, but the updates and patches actually added these answers, go dev team! The game is very beautiful thanks to its DA and the way objects and landscape are used, but technically, let's be honest, it's not that great. Still looks awesome in general, but that's not thanks to its technique or graphics themselves. Music is great and very appropriate, very well themed and can be really touching too. But don't expect an incredible OST neither, this is not Nier:Automata or Claire-Obscur 33. The gameplay in this game is incredible, not necessarily the direct gameplay (like your character and their equipment or your spaceship, though it is quite good), but rather the minutious attention to details and how everything fall in places one by one as you discover new hints and realizes new links between these hints through your own reflection, it is incredibly satisfying and engrossing. A lot of the puzzles are incredibly novel ideas and yet so simple at the same time, amazing. And when you realise towards the end that you could have solved the game in only one loop had you got the necessary information, it blows you mind. When it comes to flaws, I supposed it is to be noted that there are still some, though few and palatable: - the Nomai have written a lot of texts, with a good amount of different authors, it is a bit too bad that the only thing we get to recognize these different authors are their name... I feel like it would have been great if with any kind of technologic thingamagic, the Nomai always put their faces as some kind of signature along their comments. Or at least some kind of big photo of all the members of the clan, maybe one in each of the two main cities? It would really have been good to be able to put faces on these names... It is difficult to engage with characters that you literally never see in any way. It's not story breaking at all, but it does makes it difficult to relate properly to the characters and keep in mind who is who. And I'm good with names... I can't even begin to imagine how difficult this game is going to be for people who are bad with names... - There are some moments in the game which are a bit tedious or annoying, a difficult jump in a platforming section, a stealth moment which demands precision, etc. And the problem is that each time you fail something in this game, you often need to wait to the end of the whole time loop and come back the whole distance to try again! These moments are rare and once you really get the hold of the game and a specific moment, they are a breeze, but they are still there, and until you master them they can be really dauting and unpleasant to play with. There are only very few of them, like 3 or 4, and they're not as annoying as the same kind of difficult obstacles can be in some other games, but they are definitely there. You have as much try again as you need, but the distance and the fact that you need to reboot your time loop again entirely each time can be grating. - As it is nearly always the case with any puzzle game, there will be at least one or two times where you feel stuck, like really stuck. Generally when you're stuck in this game, it is because you're missing a piece information, so you only need to take a pause on what you're doing and go visit somewhere else. However, there are one or two puzzles where depending on your line of thought or how your brain/mind works where you may struggle to understand the puzzle, like really, despite having all clue, so no exploring more can save you there, and it sucks... It's not exactly a flaw of the game, but rather a necessary consequence of the fact that we are all different with different mindset and reflexion processes. It can be annoying, but at the same time I don't know how the devs could have done better... Suffice to say that I had to go look at a walkthrough at least once, maybe twice, and in such a great game, it sucks... - As I said, generally, the game is so well thought and made that if you are stuck somewhere, you usually need only to explore somewhere else and you're nearly guaranteed to get some new info, or a piece of info but said in another way that this time made you understood, and thus it is usually impossible to be stuck. However, if you are the impatient type, beware... This may not be the game for you. Not only you have to accept to stop your current lead and go completely elsewhere until you get a new piece of info, but there are several puzzles in the game who litterally demand you to wait (or more exactly to go do something else in the meanwhile and return at a specific time). Personnally, I wasn't bothered by this and it makes complete sense in the game, and once you understand it, it is simple to keep in mind that any puzzle that you may not understand how to solve may simply need you to wait some time. The problem is that if you happen to not have understood that (I was lucky enough to have understood it quickly), these puzzles may seem impossible, and it such a counter-intuitive thing to do in gaming in general, to wait! It's so counter intuitive that I can really imagine that some people got really stuck on the time-sensitive puzzles.
Está to guapo explorar el espacio y sentirte más perdido que un hijoputa el día del padre
Can't believed I lasted all these years without spoilers and it was SO WORTH IT! One of my top favorite games ever now. It really turned around my way of looking at "open world" games. Literally every nook and cranny has something important inside of it, and you can tell that the whole thing was planned out from a team that had a vision and a goal and were unified in that direction. Phenomenal. Only takes 20 hours to play through, and some of the best 20 hours in gaming.
Incredible
