Very fun game with unique mechanics; If you're a fan of platformers like the old Spyro games, this is definitely right up your alley. The aesthetics and soundtrack of the game are lovely, it looks amazing and the soundtrack fits really well. I love that you can customise your shades to have your own cute little band of misfits, but it would have been awesome if we could customise the cat you play as too. I did experience a quite a few performance issues, the initial cutscene freezing and frame drops here and there (1080p, default MED settings, have attached specs) where it would drop below 29 fps but it was still very playable for majority of the session I streamed. I also found that it doesn't behave the best with controllers, and I found myself switching between controller and KB+Mouse quite often in menus, and some of the menu options behave a little weirdly when selecting them with the mouse where you're mousing over one slide to move it but a different one moves instead (Volume sliders for example, more of an annoyance than a major issue but still an issue) Hopefully these issues will be fixed with future optimisations and patches. Pros: Super fun platformer Unique mechanics Great visuals Very fitting soundtrack Cute minion customisation options Cons: Minor performance issues Controller support is a bit of a mess when it comes to menus You cant customise the cat (unless it's a later unlock which is unfortunate if it is) TLDR: It's a fun game, I definitely recommend it if your PC has decent specs and you're after a fun platformer.

I've played through the first two levels now and wanted to write a review as I've been following the development of this game and I'm so pleased with what I've seen of the game so far! 3D platformers usually aren't my thing, but what sets this game apart is the minion mechanic - your character controls 'shades' to help you solve puzzles and traverse the environment, which feels reminiscent of Pikmin, a game I adore. Where this game differs from Pikmin is that each shade can be customised with an individual name and a little outfit, which makes it feel much more personal and endearing - I already have two absolutely ride-or-die shade buddies who are gonna be permanently in my party. In addition, the music, visuals, and character design are absolutely lovely from what I've seen so far. One of the characters is a shady-looking anthropomorphic cat in a trenchcoat and I love him.

I love this game already, I love my chud son. If you like gorgeous platformers with great story I highly recommend!
