This game is a blast if you are into weather/learning about weather. If you're having trouble understanding, I recommend looking up videos explaining reflectivity/velocity/cape. The game is in okay shape, they're working on a lot of things to make the game better and more efficient which is why I didnt mind to support their EA Check out their Outbrk discord too to see the progress, I'm very excited for whats coming. Please check the system requirements and make sure your pc can handle it. This is a very intense game to run and you NEED the correct amount Vram for it to run correctly. Which is 8gb of Vram, I'm not sure why it isnt listed.

If you like the idea of storm chasing, get the game. Its in depth in a way that makes the chasing and predicting actually feel rewarding rather than a generic "go here, take video, leave" simulator. The Map is surprisingly large with variety over the whole map that seems to be the perfect size between, "That's too far away I cant get there in time" and "I can get to any storm 100% of the time". It does have its "boring/bare" spots but... that's kind of where tornadoes form irl. Each chase is unique, sometimes having multiple high stakes storms that take knowledge and ability to use your resources effectively to figure out which one to invest your time in. And sometimes with little to no storms that make finding a tornado like finding a needle in a haystack. But the balance of "crazy storms" to "no/slim storms" is balanced pretty well. The game is very stable, I'm not sure if it has ever crashed on me....buuut the biggest issues currently for me, the issues are known and being worked on, is performance. I will say I am VERY spoiled and prudish when it comes to consistent fps so if it doesn't bother you, it shouldn't be a huge deal. I have a 9070xt so top of the line Team Red card, and no other game that I've ever played runs my card as hot as this game, including games like 2077, Alan Wake 2, BL4, etc. I'm not sure if this is an AMD/Invidia optimized thing. As I can image a smaller dev team has to prioritize certain systems first so it maybe better with an Invidia card. BUT I do not think this is a big enough issue to cause anyone to not get the game. Just trying to be fair. After a few hours of tinkering I have got the game running at a acceptable quality and not make my pc an affective space heater at the same time. And there is a super helpful community willing to help new comers with issues like this. And the game devs seem active and are updating frequently and consistently.
