Outbreak: The Nightmare Chronicles

Это просто ужас, а не игра. Кому то нравится старый Resident Evil и вот решили сделать его клон. Кривая анимация персонажа, монстров. Когда вы пыряете зомби ножом, вы перебиваете его удары. Один и тот же босс в конце каждой главы. Простые головоломки. Один негатив от игры. На её фоне даже Daymare: 1998 смотрится шедевром.

My favorite game in the Outbreak franchise of the five released so far. A classic styled survival horror with good ol' tank controls and fixed cameras. Chapter 4 is by far the weakest of the bunch, but that's very much in line with classic survival horror games which all tend to turn into clunky action games near the end.

Not bad if you're into old horror games and can handle tank controls. Very very basic game; there's no voice acting, no cutscenes (all the story is done through text) and there isn't much variety in the areas (the manor is decent, but you'll spend most of the time in tunnels and only revisit the same few manor rooms later) Puzzles usually involve finding a code to open a door, and the document with the answer is always pretty close by. Sometimes it gets spiced up and you need to find a key! Chapter 2 has a bit more variety with you having to find puzzle pieces, but the remaining two chapters felt kind of lazy, especially chapter 4 which just has you running and gunning through a few previously visited rooms... I found the controls ok and didn't encounter any bugs. There's a decent amount of weapon variety and enough enemy types for the length of the game. Pretty polished considering it was made by one person. I enjoyed it. Worth buying when on a big sale. Took me a bit less than 3 hours to finish.

I you like your retro 1990s fixed camera Survival Horror games, then "Outbreak: The Nightmare Chronicles" is likely right up your street. Admittedly, the game is ludicrously hard and the controls don't always lend themselves well to the gameplay, but if your can get around these two points then it should be fine. It's worth remember that this is a Resident Evil tribute game and as such it will feel very similar to the source material. If you can get past that derivative feel, however, then definitely give it a look.

Resident Evil для нищих. В общем-то, помимо этого об игре и сказать нечего. Очень дешёвый и безыдейный клон классических Резиков. В игре плохое управление, плохие анимации, нулевой импакт от оружия, поломанная физика, отсутствует баланс, три вида врагов, отличающихся только количеством хп, никакущий эксплоринг, одна единственная головоломка на всю игру, практически полное отсутствие сюжета - ни одного хорошего элемента. Как вишенка на торте - третья и четвёртая главы игры. Идеи и желание у разработчика к этому моменту уже, видимо, иссякли, поэтому оставшиеся две главы он решил просто заспидранить. Если первая и вторая длятся по часу и представляют собой хоть и дерьмовый, но всё таки Резик, то третья глава это десятиминутный линейный корридор из комнат, а четвёртая так вообще буквально набор(даже не хотя бы корридор) из ПЯТИ комнат из прошлых глав, в которых вы просто спавнитесь с гранатомётом среди трёх-четырёх зомби, убиваете их за пару секунд, и вас телепортирует в следующую. В общем, не рассматривайте даже если вы фанат жанра, даже за те 100 рублей, которые за неё просят на распродаже. Сейчас игр с закосом на классические сурвайвал хорроры настолько много, что тратить время на подобное просто не стоит. Присмотритесь лучше к, например: - Nightmare of Decay - Dead Beacon - My Friendly Neighborhood - Alisa - Signalis

I enjoyed it. Takes less than an hour to beat. Worth a couple of bucks.

A game with a very good graphics quality, nice evironments and a similar to Them and Us Gameplay, but a very bad movement function as well as a much too high difficulty even on "normal". A pity, because i would have played it furthermore than only 2 hours.
