Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 5 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

"Outbreak: Contagious Memories" brings back classical horror in the best (and worst) ways imaginable. It appears that the development team is a hardcore fan of classic survival horror games and it *shows* through Contagious Memories. Between the "sike, fooled you!" placement of ribbons and ammunition to the controls that can drive you crazy in high-tense situations, it's all here. The challenge of Contagious Memories is down to being honed in on the era of survival horror that it was inspired by - which can be frustration as all hell or a nostalgic trail down memory lane (though, both can occur simultaneously). As others have said: it's a love letter to an era of survival horror that wasn't really designed for everyone. Many may expect more modernized controls that feel less "clunky" but they tend to forget that it was one of the most chaotic variable to older survival horrors - getting used to a fixed camera and controls that takes some time to master. Sure, you can change the camera view but each camera is seemingly designed to imitate experiences from the genre in another lifetime. Heck, even the voice-over work is done in the most deliberately tacky way possible that reflects on the same era of inspiration. Nothing is left untouched in Contagious Memories, it's a soft-touch approach to bringing back the nightmarish, trollish experiences of survival horrors of the late 90s and early-2000s. Great game by all means and I'm impressed that this was done by a studio of one.

If you're a fan of retro survival horror I'd recommend that you give this game a go. What sets this game apart is the ability to switch between 3 camera perspectives. You can play in First Person, Third Person, or with Fixed Camera Angles (Just like old school Resident Evil and Silent Hill). Better yet you can switch it with the touch of a button. The more time I spent with this game the more I loved it. The atmosphere of this game is so extremely well done that when not being chased by Zombies I took the time to look around. It's not without its flaws, but even those are a part of its charm. It can be a bit difficult for those who aren't veterans of the genre, but once you learn the ins and outs out the game, it becomes far easier. The series has a bright future ahead of it and I can't wait to see what comes next!
Hmm its ok
Good proposal, bad execution. There are not subtitles even with english text (there's no option to enable them). Needs a better optimization.
hard no. It copies way too much of the bad parts. Co-op is horrifyingly bad.
Fun fact, this game about zombies was actually made by zombies!

Nedostatek munice!!!
For an indie game this is quite good. The graphics aren't the best and the cut scenes are a little wonky, but the gameplay definitely captures that 90's survival horror theme. If you enjoyed RE1 or RE2 back in the day, you'll get a kick out of this!
Outbreak: Contagious Memerories is a lot like the original Resident Evil 1-3 games. Solving puzzles, saving with ink ribbons, and killing zombies! You can choose to use the traditional tank style controls with fixed camera angles, third person, and even first person (my favorite). Sadly the controls for first person are very hard to get used to, the mouse sensitivity is REALLY clunky and too hard to aim accurately. The voice acting is pretty cheesy and sounds like they're being voiced by AI/Microsoft SAM. However, the graphics and character models are really nice while the gameplay is fun and challenging! If you liked the original RE series I'd give this a go, although I would NOT pay full price ($30) for it. 6/10
