Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 15 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

My Favorite of the Orcs Must Die franchise.
ultimately this is a fine game that defeats itself by both being too easy and not having enough map variety. since the missions aren't actually designed and are randomly generated, once you've seen each map once... that's basically it. and then each time you start a run you have to spend like an hour doing piss easy missions before you get into the uh... very mildly challenging ones. it's a huge waste of time. hopefully they just cannibalize the bones of this game and make a new orcs must die with actual level design. and maybe more active combat? wouldn't that be something

Roguelike elements feel like they take way more away then they give, would be a fun side mode to a standard Orcs game. Lack of standard missions, or maps between 1 and 4 entry points, lack of customizable characters, weapons, or traps is such a letdown. Difficulty scale doesn't help. Maybe the things I want like infinite modes or maps of my choosing without these random effects are beyond where I got but it doesn't feel fun.
I don't hate this game but I don't like it either. The developer doesn't seem to understand the tower defence genre anymore. The rogue aspect was already existing in many TD games, it's the ENDLESS MODE. I suppose there is space for innovation here. Now, comparing this game with OMD2 : - you cannot choose the map you want to play - you cannot choose your weapon - you cannot choose a "named" difficulty setting (here it's just a slider from 1.0 to infinity...) - there is only one playable mode (the endurance mode isn't an option, it's just a weird endgame content) Pretty sad to see this developer struggling with the production of games they don't really want to make.
If you like OMD3 you'll like this. Just ignore the negative reviews. It's as fun as the older games, but it gives you even more stuff and replayability. There's new hero-based abilities and ultimates, beautiful intertwined maps and plenty of new enemies and boss fights. It takes the best out of RPG and TD.
Game kinda sucks, even with friends. The previous games were better. Skip this one, not even worth it on sale.
This was so uninteresting, especially the character design, the first 3 games are miles better by a longshot, i wonder what happened to this studio, such a downgrade. uninstalled. its just a super kiddy game now, and i doubt even kids will like it. Just Play OMD 3.
Even the devs gave up lol
Why are the lanes so wide? 5 tile wide lanes with limited barricades is just brutal. It's not hard, it's just annoying cause it invalidates the usage of some traps, especially certain wall traps. I played solo and tried really hard to enjoy my time but it just didn't give me nearly as much satisfaction as the original Orcs Must Die. Not to mention the healthbars and damage numbers feel like place holders, just static plain font text with no flare whatsoever. I think the largest problem this game has is by far the map design. Since the game is for up to 4 players they have made the maps all HUGE with 4 doors on most maps. There are some horrible maps out that simple don't have chokepoints to funnel orcs into without using most of your barricades. You can't create your own funnel on them with the barricades you have because if you did you'll have 4 other lanes flowing towards your rift or WORSE you'll have 2 lanes that open up near staircases that make trap placement impossible without the additional barricades. You can't place traps on slopes and wall traps have limited effects on stairs without the initial L shaped turn so you wind up becoming the soul reason that specific lane isn't able to not reach your rift since you have such limited trap placement. I REALLY want to love this game, but it feels like due to the focus on 4 player multiplayer they have sort of shafted solo players. You'll spend most of your time SPRINTING gate to gate on some maps making it so you can't even see the carnage your traps are doing. 22 Barricades just isn't enough solo, but SOME maps are perfect for it. There's 1 map in particular that is just 2 parallel staircases. Make an L shape barricade on each staircase turn and you have a good choke that funnels orcs against the walls to take Ceiling, wall, and floor trap damage. Not to mention the final straight away to your 2 rifts isn't insanely wide. It was the only map where it felt like i was playing Orcs Must Die which is a shame. There was one other map early on but to save time i won't talk about it. If you have friends who are interested in the series this might be worth the purchase but alone you might struggle to enjoy your experience. I didn't even mention the "roguelike" mechanics that honestly do nothing for me because of how incredibly simplistic they are. Simple damage buffs or for some reason Rift buffs that you almost never want to choose cause you rarely want orcs getting that close. Not to mention the Warmages are just kinda lame, they don't do anything but look boring and say annoying voicelines. I would have much preferred something along the lines of orcs must die 1 where i can pick weapons and place them into trap slots. You can probably still enjoy this game, but if you have 1 friend just go play Orcs Must Die 2 or 3. The map design is significantly better and even the original game still holds to this day.
