Fun game but with issues. Generally i would recommend, the game play and concept is fun and novel enough to get you through the first few attempts. The narrator is a delight. TLDR: Fun game and would recommend but some major UX changes are needed to elevate the game. About worth the price and if you get used to it you'll be playing for hours. If nothing changed about this game I'd say it was about worth the price i payed for it (about £5-6) but i can easily see the concept being worth triple that with a little refining and customisation. My biggest issues come from the horrid UX design. Most things require you to go through a menu making it all a bit awkward to use. The low health, flashing red, indicator is the same as the being hit indicator, it its hard to tell if a block has just been hit or is super low hp and you need ti quickly repair it. Since I've mentioned repairing I'd be remiss to not mention that it makes no sense to repair the basic block. At the base values, it has 100HP costing 1 gold per HP healed (so up to 100 gold), but it only costs 20 to build it in the first place. So its must more economical to just destroy it (getting a 75% refund) and replacing it. This method is so economical, that doing anything but this (at least in early runs) can tank you economy and make it impossible to expand. This needs to be addressed, either make it worth less to do so or cheaper to repair. By far the worse issue I've run into is right click is both rotate camera and rotate component, so when looking around I sometimes randomly spin a block, cutting my electric grid in half and ruining my entire ship, with practically no way to tell. Between this, no way to tell the HP of a clock without clicking each one (meaning you are punished for having more block dense ships) and high speed debris being able to one shot blocks, I commonly have the issue where I have a ship that works, then suddenly nothing works. The controls need to be remap-able and have more hotkeys for repairing and upgrading. There are a few things I'd liked added; like custom starts, more challenges and i can predict (once i get some upgrades) that an endless mode would go far. I haven't come across any auto healing blocks but if you keep the repair and health the way they are I would say that are needed. Better ways to monitor health would be nice. I come off as overly negative but I really do enjoy the game and even in the current state would recommend it. Unlike other similar games it does not come off as an early access game that is missing stuff but more a complete game that needs some updates and re-balancing.

This is a fun (and amusingly topical) twist on tower defence with a clean, chunky visual style. It's pretty tough during early runs when there's not much room to manoeuvre but after unlocking a few permanent upgrades you're awarded more opportunity to get creative with different blocks/setups.
