Metroidvania Misery simulator dear god why

I enjoyed this game, story was interesting enough, the art was great, music was superb, and the mechanics were enjoyable. I did have some issues launching the game however, it would say the game was running but never actually start so task manager had to be up to end the process, sometimes several times before a successful launch. Overall I really enjoyed the game.

Nice little game, I enjoyed it and beat it but there were some bugs that can be a bit aggravating. Having to return to checkpoints because a trap didnt blow up when intended, my "currency" going into debt for seemingly zero reason, or the audio bugging out because I attacked a boss with my flamethrower causing too many sound effects to be on screen at once are some of the complaints. Fun though, solid game and the music was really nice.

I think it could be cheaper, so personally would only recommend on sale. It's an okay game but nothing special.
