I enjoyed this mini-compilation, especially for the Night Striker game. For those who complain that the they don't see the "Homing" shots, that is a separate shot. Go to Settings, then controls, then Settings 2 for the mappings. Your main shot (SHOT), can have more rapid-fire settings. The "Homing" shot option (TRIGGER SHOTS), also has the same rapid-fire settings. Use it to your advantage. Be sure to hold both buttons simultaneously when playing (you'll see the homing shots with a different colour). Also, the remixed songs (like "Urban Trail") clearly aren't the same ones that are going to be used in the forthcoming Night Strlker Gear sequel (Unless that will be an extra music option). I'm still waiting for this to be available for the other current-gen consoles (like XBOX and PS4/5).

Unfortunately the game could not run performantly on my device. Lots of audio stutter which is surprising since Night Striker GEAR runs perfectly for me. Could probably be fixed with a tool like Special K but would have expected better from M2.

Great collection. My only complaints is every time I launch the game it always goes window mode. This needs a change. Thank you. That's all overall fantastic collection. Fantastic

HIGHLY recommended to experience the excellence of Night Striker + have some extra fun with the gun shooters (I personally recommend Space Gun out of the three). The analog control is more accurate than in current MAME, the gadgets help a lot regarding learning info on stuff like enemy counts or health, and the extra music included is some of the best in recent years from Taito Sound Team Zuntata. You'll get a greater deal off of this than Night Striker Gear, trust me.

There is no way to disable the auto-centering in Night Striker, essentially making the game unplayable on a regular gamepad. If you have a compatible flight stick, you're good to go. For the rest of us: what on earth were you thinking, M2??? You already had the option to disable auto-centering in your Space Harrier release. In fact, it's disabled by default for the d-pad controls. Really confused and disappointed. I'll buy it again if they patch in the ability to disable auto-center, but unfortunately it seems like there's basically no chance of that actually happening at this point.

I wish I could give a "meh" rating as I'm very on the fence on this collection. I love Op Wolf, Op Thunderbolt although Space Gun was always a mediocre effort, in my opinion. Night Striker is just a mess of a game, similar to Thunderblade or Space Harrier, but without the initial "wow" factor these arcade games provided. There are not enough graphic options either, in fact none, as I am aware, however they all play very well without any hiccups. The controls are horrendous too, however you can use the mouse on Desktops, which I have, but I cannot imagine playing on Steamdeck or even joypad. Achievements are a nice addition, but some very, very easy to the, quite frankly, absurd. Just over 20 quid for 4 games you could get on MAME for zero money, and a lot more options, is a far too steep. After all is said and done, I can finally play Op Wolf on Steam as opposed to the "updated" version, which was very dull in comparison. Buy it at a future low sale price. Even the current price is a little high at sale. Thumbs up for nostalgia! Thumbs down for lazily cashing in.
