Open Roads

Интерактивную литературу потрогал впервые. Если хочется динамики, то это про другое. Сюжет не сложный, но интересный. Развитие событий вполне закономерное. Варианты ответов особой роли не играют. Мир нарисован неплохо, но анимация диалогов сначала озадачила, потом показалась вполне приемлемой. Головоломок толком нет: находишь предмет и применяешь, или же находишь место применения, а потом ищешь конкретный предмет. Есть множество записок, журналов, открыток, различных предметов, которые можно посмотреть, повертеть, почитать. Вообще, было достаточно увлекательно

I loved this game! It reminded me so much of Gone Home, and that was one of the first games I ever played and am still nostalgic for it even now! Open Roads is the same vibe of game, you simply wander around houses and other locations to explore...taking in the scenery, calmly flipping through cabinets, reading old letters, shuffling through boxes of old magazines, and solving very easy puzzles. There is no running, chasing, or challenging item manipulation or solving hard puzzles. And, yes, while it's also fun to hack up zombies or run around in the dark from Backrooms monsters, sometimes it's also nice to just experience life in all of it's soft parts: like reading a post card of your recently passed grandma in a quiet, dusty attic with nothing but the sound of birds chirping in the sun-drenched yard outside. This game is basically a walking simulator and you engage with the narration between the mom and daughter. I loved the premise of the game, the bonding between mom and daughter, discovering family secrets, and the game ending on a sweet (real-life) ending. If you love games that are relaxing, easy, quiet, and simple with a sweet ending, this is the game for you!
