Only One

Other than the nostalgia value, it's a really fun and addicting hack and slash arcade game with a pretty catchy soundtrack... I used to sink so many hours on it back on mobile alone. It's safe to say it's still worth your time, it was really nice to hear from the developer that more features and new enemies have been introduced into the game. Only One is something that's really easy to pick up and play wherever you are, especially if you've got a Steam Deck at hand!

this is as good of a game as it's always been! if you're returning from the mobile game, you already know what to expect. there's two new bosses, 20 new levels alongside them, and I believe some new enemies in the later levels as well. there's also a new set of time trial challenges which give you a set number of enemies and tell you to get a certain score with them. and yes, it includes all the upgrades which were locked behind the dlc on the mobile version! if you're new, it's a pretty good and satisfying topdown wave based slash-em-up game for a really good price. great music, great pixel artstyle, good and satisfying enemy progression, and a host of passive upgrades and active abilities to choose from. some of the later ones take a good bit of grinding but you don't necessarily need to do that to beat the game. it's a surprisingly lengthy game, with plenty of variety in enemies and bosses. it will probably take you a while to do everything! in either case it's very worth getting! I love this game to bits and pieces and I'm very glad to finally see it get a PC release!

Excellent arcade style phone game finally ported to PC. It's a combat arena with persistent upgrades / abilities on your toon. Great retro sound track. Absolutely perfect when you need to kill a little time.

I cant believe my eyes, this masterpiece finally came out for pc. I cant wait to beat it once again but on pc, i wish there were achievements though.

This game has been a huge part of my life. I vividly remember i would play up until it got too difficult for me then quit. It was a huge journey that eventually led to me 100%ing the game when i was good enough! Game is phenomenal. Love the action, love everything about it honestly. It deserves more attention. When i was doing my routine bi-yearly playthrough of this game (atleast it felt like bi-yearly lol), you would expect my shock that, after 10 years, the game is coming to STEAM! WITH MORE CONTENT!!! I was so happy I feel like since the game has released on PC, it is catered a lot more to casual play, which i think is completely fair due to how much ive raged on this game when i was younger xD At the same time.. The difficulty is kind of what sold it for me, it felt SO INCREDIBLY good when you beat the game back then. I hope the game gets some sort of difficulty system implemented, But at the same time, that would take more effort than it would be worth. Either way, incredible game. I thank RebelBinary for all they've done to keep this game alive even after 10+ years! P.S: This is my first time actually trying out ultimate power and i love the interactions that are present with specific abilities. okay bye now!!!
