I only recommend this game cause the exploration is pretty fun. Flying around as Luffy is fun and the story is a bit basic but still pretty fun. That is all the good I can say about the game. The movement and combat is so clunky and aggravating that you HAVE to play on beginner if you want to have any fun. Playing on any higher difficulty just makes the already frustrating combat mechanics longer and the excessive loading screens makes every death grating. Anyway the ONLY reason I recommend this game is cause I got it on sale for $5 and I think you should too. DONT buy it for full price and play it like an exploration sim.

I gotta be honest. I forced myself to finish this game, even though I'm a huge One Piece fan. This game simply doesn't do the anime justice. The story didn't grab me, most of the characters are just fanservice, and the DLCs completely killed my will to play. But I don't want to only write bad things about the game; I had a lot of fun playing as Luffy, even though the frame rate fluctuated between 30 and 50 fps at times. You can tell someone with a vision worked on the game, but unfortunately, it wasn't very well executed. 4/10

I would Highly buy this game (even though it is 6 years old) because it is very good with combat and the story, very engaging. Though I am still new to the game, I still think that this is very good (although others may disagree), yeah.
Being able to freely travel around feels nice. Definitely better than turn-based game, especially if you play as Luffy

I bought this game years after release and honestly? It still hits hard. The story is pure One Piece energy, soundtrack’s a banger, and the visuals are just perfect — colorful, sharp and totally fits the anime vibe. Exploring the island is pure fun. You jump around, swing like Spider-Luffy, and send Marines flying — peak chaos. Gear 4 looks epic, even if it lasts like 3 seconds before Luffy runs out of gas 😂 Now for the real talk 👇 • Only 4 playable characters (Luffy, Zoro, Law, Sabo) • No co-op or PvP — imagine two players clearing Marine bases together… that would’ve been legendary. • Stealth system “exists” but let’s be honest — there’s no crouch, just slow walking in sandals that sound like wet flip-flops 💀 But still… even with all that — this game is fire. It nails the One Piece spirit and gives you that adventure feeling few anime games do. ⭐ 9/10 — Would stretch-punch my way through this island again without hesitation. 🏴☠️ For every pirate who still believes in adventure.
Came from One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 to try more One Piece games, but oh boy, was I so freaking disappointed with World Seeker. The only good thing that happened in this game is the opening sequence. It does its job very well to hype the player into playing the game. Then it's only downhill from here. It's an open world game with the most basic open world template stapled with the One Piece IP: - Weak, but serviceable story. - Side quests are mostly fetch quests and dull, combat quests. - Combat is basic, uninspired, and felt too clunky to play. Enemies are meh, bosses are kind of okay. - Travel gets tedious very fast as you just Gum-Gum your way towards quest markers. It's even annoying knowing that you need to be in a correct angle to fling your way upwards. - Map is too big with a whole lot of nothing in it. No real reason to reward exploration. - There is only one music track that plays during battle that gets irritating very fast, and outside the battle, there is barely even music. If there is, it's forgettable. The game also had the guts to give us 3 DLCs that are utter cashgrabs. ~1 hour only to finish the whole story that doesn't give that much depth to the overall story, then another 2-3 hours just to repeat the latter part of the story in order to get all skill and achievements?! Don't be a prey to this predatory game. Play other open world games instead.
