Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One More Gate: A Wakfu Legend is a single-player roguelite deck-building game developed and published by Ankama Studio that expands the colorful and eccentric Wakfu universe into a tightly structured, strategy-driven experience built around repetition, mastery, and adaptation. From the very first run, the game establishes a familiar but confident loop: venture through procedurally generated regions, engage in turn-based card combat, make difficult choices at branching paths, and inevitably fail—only to return stronger, wiser, and better prepared for the next attempt. Rather than relying on heavy narrative exposition, the game emphasizes systems, synergy, and experimentation, using Wakfu lore as a thematic backbone rather than a dominant storytelling force. Each run sends the player through a series of interconnected zones within the World of Twelve, where combat encounters, random events, merchants, and upgrades are arranged differently every time. This procedural structure ensures that even familiar paths require new decisions, particularly as enemies scale in complexity and demand tighter deck optimization. The map design consistently asks players to weigh risk against reward, offering tempting detours toward powerful cards or relics while threatening tougher enemies or long-term penalties. These decisions form the strategic heart of the game, reinforcing the sense that success is shaped as much by judgment and restraint as by raw power. Combat follows the classic deck-builder formula but adds its own flavor through Wakfu energy management and card interactions. Each turn is governed by limited energy, forcing careful prioritization between offense, defense, and utility. Cards range from straightforward attacks and blocks to more intricate effects that manipulate energy flow, trigger conditional bonuses, or alter enemy behavior. As runs progress, synergy becomes increasingly important, and successful decks often hinge on chaining effects together rather than relying on individual high-damage cards. The system is approachable for newcomers but offers enough depth to reward long-term experimentation and refinement. Progression between runs plays a significant role in maintaining momentum. Unlocks gradually expand the available card pool, introduce new relics, and open alternative strategic routes, ensuring that repeated failures still feel productive. Rather than handing out raw power indiscriminately, the game encourages players to broaden their tactical options, allowing for more specialized builds and creative approaches over time. This meta-progression helps soften the inherent difficulty of the roguelite structure while preserving the tension and unpredictability that define the genre. Visually, One More Gate is unmistakably Ankama. The art style mirrors the expressive, cartoon-infused look of Wakfu, with vibrant colors, exaggerated character designs, and clear visual language that makes combat states easy to read. Enemy intent is clearly communicated, animations are snappy, and the interface remains clean even as battles grow more complex. The presentation prioritizes clarity without sacrificing personality, which is especially important in a game where split-second understanding of the board can determine survival. Audio design complements this approach with upbeat and atmospheric music that reinforces the game’s playful yet strategic tone. Narratively, the game takes a lighter approach, offering lore fragments, character encounters, and thematic consistency rather than a tightly scripted story arc. While fans of the Wakfu universe will appreciate familiar concepts and references, newcomers can enjoy the game without prior knowledge. The story exists primarily to contextualize progression and world traversal, and while it may not deliver deep emotional arcs, it succeeds in giving each run a sense of place within a broader, living universe. Over extended play sessions, some repetition inevitably emerges, particularly for players deeply familiar with roguelite deck-builders. Certain encounters and events recur frequently, and while card synergies vary, the overall rhythm of runs remains consistent. That said, the game’s charm lies in how smoothly it executes its formula and how rewarding it feels to gradually master its systems. The balance between randomness and player agency is generally well maintained, even if luck occasionally plays a decisive role in shaping a run’s outcome. Overall, One More Gate: A Wakfu Legend is a polished and engaging deck-building roguelite that successfully adapts Ankama’s distinctive universe into a strategic, replay-focused format. It may not redefine the genre or deliver a deeply narrative-driven experience, but it excels at offering satisfying combat, meaningful choices, and steady progression that encourages “just one more run.” For fans of card-based roguelikes and players drawn to Wakfu’s vibrant aesthetic, it stands as a strong and approachable entry that rewards patience, experimentation, and thoughtful play. I played this game since early access and I find it brilliant. I am not a card-game player, but this one is catchy and easy to apprehend if you've never played a game like this before! Not too easy nor too hard, I played a lot and never got bored of it. As a former Dofus/Wakfu player, it was also fun to reunite with the universe and the creatures. I can just highly recommend this game, I loved it!
Great deckbuilder. Classic game design, good balance, pleasing visuals.

I almost played this game when it released, and if I had, it would have been one of my first ever Roguelike and my very first Roguelike Deckbuilder. My review could have been positive then, but in the meantime, I played both Hades games, Slay the Spire 1, Sol Cesto, Froggy Hates Snow... so I actually have games to compare this one with. There are a few positive aspects: the decors, animations and sound design are pretty neat. It's an Ankama game so it is to be expected. And that's the reason I have purchased OMG: I am currently in my yearly Ankama phase. And despite having played Dofus since over a decade ago, I was still pleased to see that the enemies you have seen 10 times in all their games still had cool variants with original designs. I would have been extremely disappointed otherwise. Everything else about this game is simply subpar compared to the ones listed above. I don't think it's worth playing past the demo. - Whether you play in English or French, the dialogs are poorly written, barely funny and uninspired. - The UI is quite terrible, for example you can only see the 2nd level of a card before you upgrade it, not the 3rd one, so you don't know its maximum potential until you waste money on it. - The equipment look like placeholders where you will realistically only ever use 1-3 good / OP ones. - The menus generally look flat, boring, as uninspired as possible - The cards are mostly copy/pastes of each other with an added effect: push, push but with poison, push but with buff... it gets old FAST. - Most trinkets are absolutely USELESS while a few ones are BROKEN, so you just pray to get a broken one or know you are probably going to lose... unless you farmed enough to roll on the entire zone anyways. - There are only 4 zones, only one "quest" (AKA mini-boss fight) per zone, barely anything to do in the hub, barely any story to progress... I decided to uninstall after beating the first two zones and almost beating the third one. Because this is boring, repetitive and not challenging. It feels like a grind, there is a hard cap on a zone until you upgrade one or two cards, or get lucky with the trinkets, then rinse and repeat. I don't think this game respects my time much. It feels like a rushed project during which the art team had more time than anyone other. It's another disappointment to add to my ever-growing list of "Ankama-made disappointments". Let's see how the Waven rework turns out...
