An alien world sometimes needs a farmer’s touch to bring it to life. In this sci-fi, colonization-life sim, terraform a barren world: turn wastelands into verdant landscapes while exploring, farming, building, and unlocking all the mysteries of this strange new planet.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ok i have played this game for a bit now and it really is somewhat of a headscratching mess. Tooltips on some items say what they are good for and in fact there not. Chickens and Robochickens like thistle and another seed but in fact they dont, they dont even like the grown product from these seeds and the only item these are used for is making a bouquay of flowers (a 1 time use) after that these are wortjless and just not worth the time or effort in growin them for 5 coins each. Green refuse (left overs from harvesting crops) says can be made into animal feed but in fact there is NO animal feed in the game, it was never implemnted. Quests are literally a confusing mess, leaving you wondering what there is to do to unlock stuff, there are items that you need that you just cannot obtain so your constantly wondering what the hell you missed or what you must do now, online is not helpful as half the time you must make this item and upgrade that but you carnt becuase your missing that item. I have now gone through 2 yrs of in game time and i am still none the wiser. This brings me to now, that i have just had enough alias this thumbs down review, stay away there are much better games out there, this one is not one i could even remotely recommend, its one to avoid.

Half a game. Very rushed and not worth the buy.
Loved the idea and concept, still has to many missing components. Pretty sure its been abandoned. until its finished my review is negative.
I really wanted to like this game more than I did. It's exactly the KIND of game I enjoy. It has a ton of really good ideas, and the visual design and artwork are really nice. The story, or at least as much as I saw, was interesting. The minesweeper mini game is really clever, though unpolished. But the pacing of the game is way off. The goals are vague and quickly cleared, so that progress goes in fits and starts with a lot of down time. New characters are interesting, but progressing with them is glacial thanks to only being able to give one gift a week. I was so looking forward to the terraforming part of the game, and it went by like a flash with almost no challenge. Make a couple easy parts, and you're done and need to just farm for a while even though there's no real goal to accomplish through farming or mining. It feels like I'm stumbling around until I hit the invisible trigger to make the game keep going. There's a general lack of polish. The UI has some super rough edges (for the love of all that which does not suck, GIVE ME ACCESS TO THE BOTTOM BAR WHEN INTERACTING WITH MACHINES AND CONTAINERS!) I think there might be a bug preventing me from progressing, but I can't tell. Looking at the screenshots and videos, there's plainly a lot to this game that I think I'd enjoy. But I'm just so bored and frustrated that I don't want to play enough to get to it. I might try again some time, but for now I think it's time to play something else.
The game feels unbalanced in the energy/time during pre-season you end up not having enough ways to spend your energy. Also objectives will pop up without you having the ability to complete them leaving you running around looking for what you're missing when th.e true answer is time as the required people/events haven't passed yet. Story seems okay but the pacing is too slow. This is the slowest stardew valley like game, takes half an ingame month to start interacting with other villagers it takes almost an ingame month to start making money, and for some reason after completing the community requests it didn't refresh it and the timer isn't counting down. I have looked at the game version and it seems it's still not 1.0 the last file update was adding PDF files with the NPC backstories, last gameplay update was 14 months ago.
For now, I've only played 10 hours, and perhaps I'll play some more later, but the game has some... problems. It's not BAD game. The idea is quite delightful. I loved the idea when I first heard about it. I didn't hate playing it for that 10 hours either. But that 10 hours felt... well, it felt empty. Since the game is kind of similar to Stardew, I will make the comparison. With Stardew, a few hours feels like you've moved mountains. It feels good, like the work you're doing is making real progress. One Lonely Outpost, however, feels like, after 10 hours, you didn't really do anything. No real progress was made. And the progress you do make, feels kind of stunted. Like it's still in Early Access, which is disappointing. I wanted more out of this, and I thought they would do more with it, but after 1.0, they haven't touched it. No updates to speak of, no changes, no improvements, just... dead in the water. In this state, I can't really recommend it. I'll probably take the time to invest more time in it later, and see if I missed something that REALLY sells it down the line, but so far, I'm a little disappointed with it. I hope someday they get back to working on it again, but after more than a year? I doubt it.
Got some good ideas but the execution is really bad. The big problem is the pacing, its too slow and your actions doesnt really matter. The 2nd thing is the economy. Its really broken. The ROI (return of investment) is low and sometimes even negative. Example: You buy a seed, plant and water it for several days. When you sell the produce you will lose money. At the same time you could buy a lamppost, dismantle it and sell the materials for a big profit. :) As the game unfolds you unlock fishing, bughunting, mines and so forth. The completionist in me will probably try to catch as much as possible before moving on.
Really interesting terraforming concept, unfortunately not well executed. I wish I could influence the way the game terraforms the planet, customizing it in some way. The game is otherwise slow to start; I was praising the heavens when the minesweeper minigame was introduced because watering plants and hitting rocks was starting to get very dull. And I regularly hit certain bugs that, while they do not break the game, make it less fluid to interact with such as the inability to collect achievements and occasionally not being able to mouse over items to allow the pop-up descriptions. Also occasional bugs with the tool drones.
I really tried. I like the genre. I like the concept. But the execution isn't great. It's extremely slow to progress. Money making is difficult and time consuming. After 14 in game days of doing the exact same thing with bo progress or signs of progress, I realised I was bored. The reviews seem to indicate ot doesn't get better and the game has been abandoned so I decided there was no point continuing. Given the large number of games in his genre, this needed to be good to stand out. Colonising an alien world from scratch had potential. Shame really. One of the very first missions in which you need to get your robot buddy fixed immediately glitched out which means I cannot continue the story. Honestly, how can you release a broken game like this? I now have two choices: stop playing or start the game over again in the hopes it will work next time. I choose to stop playing for the following reasons: - Apparently game breaking bugs - The inventory system is stupid. You cannot use items in your "hot bar" in stores, when using machines etc. There is also no auto sorting system. - The controls for navigation the menu when using a controller are clunky There are honestly so many other similar games out there that are perfect examples of how to make a good life sim / farming game, but it seems the creator of this game didn't look at those. Unless these bugs get fixed, just avoid this game.
