About
Olga is a short, episodic first-person narrative walking simulator game, where each new episode reveals the next piece of the story.
After coming across what’s seemingly the biggest career opportunity of their lives, Olga’s parents leave the country for a few months, leaving her at her grandparents’ home in Belovodica, a hidden, isolated village deep within the mountains.
The story unfolds at a time when communication devices, such as cell phones, were not available to those living in such areas.
All Belovodica has to offer Olga is an isolated, peaceful, and quiet life with her old grandparents, or at least that’s what she wanted to believe…

This game honestly surprised me. The graphics, music and atmosphere are amazing. It hits that nostalgia feeling of an old Macedonian village where you used to spend your summers as a kid, that you haven't been there for ages, and you remember it exactly like a child would. It even captures those "goosebumps" worthy local legends every village have. The gameplay, it’s super smooth. The puzzles hit that sweet spot: lightweight and easy enough to keep the cozy, chill pacing flowing without dragging the story down, but just tricky enough that you don't feel like the answers are just handed to you on a silver plate. Would really like an Episode 2 with more puzzles though. The whole presentation hit so close to home for me that I ended up going full explorer mode, inspecting every little corner which totally explains if my playtime is way higher than the average completion time XD. 101/10 would recommend.
What a ride! From 0 to 100 real quick! Definitely recommended! You will find soothing background music, cozy environment, great story, and a cliff-hang... never mind. Check it for yourself. Worth it! Devs, very well done. Indie FTW! Now give us episode 2 ASAP!

In this modern day and time where it feels like everything is a microtransaction and or game companies are pumping out unfinished games just for the sake of releasing them it always feels like a nice breath of fresh air to find a good story-heavy game that is polished and the love and care that is given to the game is obvious and apparent. From what I understand the studio that made it is small and I cannot commend them enough for creating such a beautiful, cosy world that I must admit only kept dragging me in more and more as I progressed. The art style, attention to detail and all the goofy interactables are what give this game so much soul! In Olga, as of right now only one episode, you put yourself in the boots of a little girl visiting her grandparents in their village. Something I am sure a lot of us have done and maybe often have nostalgic thoughts about. If you don't, then, what are you doing? Go hug your grandparents right now! I am sure they miss you. Without spoiling, the visit is "different" than last time and you slowly unravel more clues through conversation and how the village is in itself. This gives us a mystery that is up to us and only us to figure out and understand but grandma is acting weird and that's kinda a problem. After all, one of the most terrifying things in the world is someone you love and care for suddenly acting different and strange. Gameplay wise, do not let this game fool you that it is some kind of walking simulator. There is puzzles and secrets around every corner that may or may not make you scratch your head. Handholding is practically nonexistent but realistically you shouldn't be getting stuck on anything either. Nor is there any egregious and repetitive combat or the like. You are simply on a journey, and by all means should you continue driving down that road. The game also has horror elements but there isn't le funny jumpscare every 3 seconds or "omg a monster is chasing me for the 29154th time". It is more atmospheric horror to set the tone, with some good spooky moments from time to time just to cement the fact that you are visiting a place that is no longer the same. Overall I rate the game a 8/10, I don't give it a 9 as I really wish it was just that tad bit 15-30mins longer. And I don't give it a 10 as in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'm petty just give me more already I'm too hooked on the idea of learning more about this story and how it plays out! Keep it up developers! Ignore my pettiness as something I wish more for than just extra content is a proper polished game and I hope this quality continues into the future episodes.
作为治愈的小短篇,前期温馨,后期阴暗的转变的微恐,画风偏童话,期带下一章推出
I enjoyed the game, it was very atmospheric and spooky without being scary. It was fairly easy to work out what to do each step. The only downside is the price point for a game which I completed in less than two hours (and that was 2 hours of trying to interact with every possible object). I played on Steam Deck and had no issues.
This was so fun! I've been needing more games like this!
Stunning game, beautiful story line and atmospheric enough to keep you on your toes. This game has everything you need from a story rich walking simulator and more, and the end... Just wow! Go play it, thats all I can ay. Episode 2 cant come quick enough x
12/10 game. I may have spent way too much time poking mushrooms. I didnt even realize how much the situation was going to escalate. Super nice atmosphere. It's a nice middle of the road game if you want a spooky season vibe without constant jumpscares and chase scenes. I cant wait for the next episode. Like I need the next episode. ASAP
I absolutely enjoyed this. I enjoyed the inspiration from popular films like Coraline. The perfect amount of horror where you are just slightly uncomfortable. Wonderful Devs who are very involved in the game, streams and updates. Can't wait for the next parts.
