The boys are back , and they look better than ever! Oh…Sir! The Hollywood roast is a brand new spinoff to the surprise indie hit 0f 2016, Oh…Sir!! The Insult Simulator. This time around we’re taking tinsel town down a few notches, whilst classing up the joint.

They upgraded the battle system while downgrading everything else. Career challenges are the exact same for all characters. The CPU opponents are even less capable of keeping up with the new phrase mechanics and expanded vocabulary. The art style has more details but became less appealing. The humor and voice acting went from absurd and over-the-top to "quirky" and so, so tame. A complete bore.
Thanks for the gift, X71!
Oh... Sir! The Hollywood Roast is a simple game that can definitely be a blast... However, in 2026, the average players usually sits around 2, much like its predecessor, with nobody even playing in online lobbies. This makes achieving 100% achievements almost impossible without friends assisting you. It's only really enjoyable early on and if playing singleplayer, or trying to unlock all characters which, in 2026, is completely impossible without going back to older versions in order to unlock Nosferateen (a tedious process). Rating: 4.8/10

Compared to the first game, not much has changed. The characters are now outdated pop culture icons like Gandalf, Harry Potter, and O-Ren Ishii from Kill Bill. Instead of classic insults like "Your mother is your father", you now have to craft phrases like "Your last movie feels like a forced sequel" or "Your therapist got their degree online." It's rare to come up with truly funny insults, and the Hollywood aesthetic doesn’t appeal to me, so I don’t see much point in playing this. You’re better off buying the first game. Runs well on the Deck.
You take the first game but change the British humor into Hollywood jabs and make the achievements less RNG dependent. I feel like compared to the first game, the humor isn't as strong as the first, but if you are a fan of the first game, this has some decency for verbal insults.
If you liked the first game, you'll probably like this one too. This one is definitely cringier, but still a funnyass game.
Just as good as the first. Made even better with the Workshop!
Your so called career kinda resembles your so called career.
