Mars has been colonized, and Earth's corporate titans fight to dominate this new market. Competition is fierce in this fast-paced economic RTS from Civilization IV Lead Designer, Soren Johnson.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 7 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Reviews
The game mechanics are solid, with great graphics. But it's missing something, making it *bleh*. I just don't feel like playing it after one session.
Good artwork, good dialog Piss poor AI Scaling I would not recommend

God bless this game.

Fun game, I really like how no game is really the same. Its all a balancing act with multiple dimensions like economy, technology, arbitrage, sabotage, market manipulation and much more. The leaders have certain traits that differentiate the play style but the country and they cash you spend before the mission also builds your starting character. I have played a few mars campaigns 7 weeks and many skrimmeshes and will be playing the newer planet today. The games are pretty short about 20-30min. The game is good, I would reccomend buying it. My only complaint is that Stardock needs to make more games.
I highly recommend if you are into management / strategy games. The game is very confusing in the beginning, the tutorial does good job explaining game mechanics but leaves up to player to extrapolate from it what you can do or what is good or bad choice. One match takes between 30 and 60 minutes. For those who worry about not keeping up - you are able to pause the game at will, so no worry. The game used to have one issue that was highly bothersome. The framerate. My rig is quite powerful one. 5800x paired up with rtx 3090. In lategame it was giving me +- 15-20 fps, but luckly they have fixed it at some point. Im so happy they did.
Tl;dr Economics is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid The only games I've played with comparable information overload and making me feel like I'm doing well right before I instantly lose are Paradox games. I can't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to study to play a video game.
way to hard to enjoy
