Mars has been colonized, and Earth's corporate titans fight to dominate this new market. Competition is fierce in this fast-paced economic RTS from Civilization IV Lead Designer, Soren Johnson.

Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 7 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
One of the best economic games in history, and horribly underrated. Offworld Trading Company is a masterclass in game design. It's completely original and absolute fun. There's nothing wrong with violent games, but seeing one that focuses on markets and stocks tickles my brain in just the right way. It also has a very competent AI (not perfect, but certainly not pushovers). Soren Johnsen and Mohawk Games deserve all the praise that this game gets. It's truly brilliant. 10/10, capitalism on Mars, what a beautiful sight.
excellent tutorial/learn to play, mesmerising building construction animations. after a while the music feels right and it becomes immersive. great job mohawk games!

Great game that I keep coming back to - tough learning curve but totally worth it.
There isn't really another game quite like OTC. It's got a fun set of mechanics for fairly quick strategy sessions, with games lasting around a half hour each. They can be completed against in-game bots, or friends, or a combo of both.
Not what the game purported to be. It is not about building a colony and trading. It is about shares and wiping your oponent as soon as possible with share manipulation and under handed tactics. Very dissapointed.
The game was half-finished at release, followed by money-grabbing DLCs that would eventually deliver what should have been in the game from the start.
A game with a limited scope that executes really well on what it does. In a way Offworld kind of feels like a board game, just running extremely quickly, the game is pretty difficult, but the quick rounds make it easier to learn and improve as your mistakes become obvious pretty quickly. Its also a lot of fun in MP. If this game looks in anyway interesting to you I would recommend it.
My favorite steam game so far. Love the economic aspect of it. Disliked how monotonous it can become after playing it for a while. Wish there were more interesting transactions.
Generally a well made game. I expected it to be like a resource gathering 4x but it's far more about trading commodities and economics so .... it's not really for me. but might be for others.
