I really enjoy it.
I can feel the love put into this game! Unique story, mechanics, great game! I can definitely say you get so much value for the little price you pay. It's so fun and engaging and very hard to put down. I do think there is so much to do even though this is an early release. Can't wait to see what will be added next. There are some quirks that need to be ironed out - like controller input layout, tooltips, controls in some aspects (facing the direction is not enough, have to aim with mouse), namings (different names of grubs) and information we get in the game (I got info that tracker is the rank I can get in EA but then I got past it). But these are teeny tiny details definitely. I have not encountered any bugs. Apart one day being lost when I switched from Demo to Full game.

This game is still clearly early access and you can tell in some areas. It's pretty hard to figure out what you need to do and where you need to go as there is limited explanation, and no wiki, but I've been able to find everything I need with just a little bit of extra effort. I love the art style, the fishing minigame is actually pretty lit and the game is genuinely fun to play as it is right now. If you like a grind, like figuring stuff out for yourself and are willing to have some patience I think this game is worth it.
Saw a newly released game with not a lot of reviews (but all positive) so I figured I'd give it a shot. Gotta say, I'm absolutely in love, keep it up devs, this is a gem.
Wonderful game, wonderful devs, very active in discord. I'll write a more comprehensive review when I complete the current content, but the dev manually inserted a quest item into my save file when it wasn't spawning in game and that's pretty awesome.
Definitely worth checking. One of best fishing mechanics in Life Sim game I played! Nimbits are cute and we have option to chose more casual combat or something harder. Characters are pretty, the world is simple but not in a bad way. Even as an early access, game delivers good time and a lot of content.
I'm not that far in yet, but the art, writing, and concept are all very charming. It's cozy, and it breaks tradition with many cozy small town life games in a way I find refreshing. The goal here is not a capitalistic dream, which in other games too often by the end has transformed the well-intentioned PC into a fat cat raking in profits atop their soulless factory farm wherein every task--from watering crops to bonding with the livestock--is performed by robots. Rather than that unpleasant situation, Nimbit Frontier tasks the player with conservation and rehabilitation, treating the creatures in their care with empathy. I think that's neat, and I'm looking forward to seeing those values upheld as I continue playing!
its VERy satisfying growing and training the nimbits and then finally releasing them lovely concept
Fresh from the academy, I decided to try my luck in Star’s End. This place might be rough, but it is full of possibilities. On my first day, I met all the townsfolk; they seem nice enough. The provided accommodations are simple, but most importantly, free. Now comes the real challenge: my first dive, armed with my eight "welcome" tethers. Spot a nimbit I don’t know? Catch it! Another unknown species? Catch that one too! Yet another? Gotta catch them all! But wait—what’s this? A boss? I’ll hit it until it’s nearly defeated and attempt to secure its shard. The probability of success is only 20%. The first try was a failure... but the second? A success! I rule! This is just the beginning of my dream: I want to be the very best, like no one ever was. Jokes aside, this is a fantastic game. I played the demo for hours and liked it so much that I bought the early game the moment it became available. It feels like a perfect blend of Stardew Valley and Pokemon, but with the unique added layer of nurturing your creatures. You prepare their biomes, teach them skills, and do everything possible to help them reach the highest grade. I love this concept; it scratches an itch I didn’t even know I had. Another great feature is that the game lets you proceed at your own pace. You don’t need to worry about running out of time in the day to meet the townsfolk, fish, care for your nimbits, and dive into the dungeon. When nighttime comes, time simply stops running. Very convenient! The art style is incredibly cute, and the townsfolk seem genuinely interesting. I absolutely love the dog companion. I cannot wait to try all the features that weren’t included in the demo.
