It's a beautiful story game made by people who have real opinions and feelings about things. There's animal people. I last touched this game in 2018 and barely made it halfway through. Finally finishing it felt like a hell of a ride, and kinda nostalgic too.

This is a game that came into my life during a very dark time, and as I've grown older I've really come to appreciate it in full. Admittedly, I only bought it recently, but my history with this game goes back to it's inception. Happy nine years, Night in the Woods. <3

Совершенно не понял культовости этой игры. Это просто обычная индюшатина, в которой буквально нет ничего особенного. Больше всего не понравилась ее несобранность. Сначала игра подается как меланхоличная история про друзей, взросление и умирающий город. И вроде бы на этом можно было построить что-то действительно сильное. Но потом она резко уходит в мистику, культ, какую-то шизу, а в итоге все заканчивается резким финалом ни о чем. После такого долгого разгона концовка слишком быстрая, почти ничего нормально не объясняет, особенно весь этот мистический слой, и вообще не дает ощущения, что время было потрачено не зря. Из плюсов могу отметить некоторых интересных персонажей и диалоги с ними. Местами они правда живые, смешные и ироничные. Но игре все-таки нужно чуть больше, чем несколько удачных персонажей, чтобы быть чем-то действительно выдающимся. Вроде бы после прохождения там остаются какие-то секретики, но тратить на это свое время я, конечно же, не буду.
Депрессия... боль... криминал.... зверюшки.... Обожаю эту игру, 11 Грегов со стаканчиками вместо ушей/10
