Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Short detective visual novel that covers lgbt and religious topics. I wasn't a big fan of the artworks and mini-games but the story itself is alright.

This was cute, but the actual game mechanics are very very minimal. Mostly just involves clicking around a scene until you hit the right spot. The story, however, is great, though quite cliche. The two main characters are likeable and have an interesting history together. I enjoyed my time with the game, but there is no replayability and if you are a fast reader like myself, you will be done in under two hours. I recommend it only on sale.

Night Cascades – Disappointing yuri detective VN I really wanted to like Night Cascades. I’m a big fan of detective visual novels, so the premise sounded promising. Unfortunately, it fell quite short for me. The art is pretty basic — nothing special even for a VN, though I can forgive that since it’s a low-budget indie title. The soundtrack, however, was outright irritating. I ended up muting the game and playing my own lo-fi music in the background (which actually matched the detective vibe way better) because the original music was that distracting. The story and investigation parts felt very lackluster. The mini-games for finding clues are extremely simple and offer almost no challenge or satisfaction. Compared to Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, the clue searching and deduction here are basic and shallow — you barely need to think to figure out what’s going on. The writing has a few decent moments, but the characters often go on long tangents and rants that could easily have been shortened to just a couple of sentences. This made the pacing drag noticeably in several places. At its core, this game is really aimed at people who want an LGBTQ+ yuri story focused on the connection and romance between two lesbian women, with a very light detective backdrop. If that’s exactly what you’re looking for, you might enjoy it. For me, the mystery elements were too weak, the presentation was mediocre, and the overall experience just didn’t click. The game is short (around 3–4 hours), with almost no replay value. If you’re after strong mystery-solving and clever deduction, stick with the Ace Attorney series or other better detective VNs. 3/10
I wouldn't call it groundbreaking, yet I enjoyed my time with this VN. While the mystery isn't particularly gripping, the characters and their relationship are sufficiently developed and I felt enough investment to keep going without issue. The art definitely elevates this game, there are few CGs but the sprites are really beautiful (even those of the side-characters) and the backgrounds are quite pleasant to look at. All in all, this VN has a vibe that made for a relaxing experience, it works, I'm glad I stumbled upon it in a bundle and would recommend it to others with contained expectations.
Tries to give equal attention to everything at once, making it all average. The romance and the detective story are completely seperated. You can almost pinpoint when it switches from one to the other, and it's always so abrupt. Neither of the MCs have any emotional stake in the case (Jackie literally has a point where she talks about how she and the culprit weren't friends so she wasn't that badly affected) and so it's more like an interesting excuse to get them together or an aesthetic backdrop - which is totally fine, but what little gameplay there is is detective work, most that ends up going nowhere.
Seriously, was there a single clue that we as the player collected that actually helped solve the mystery? Because all the real information such as the Bloodandbone fertiliser or the Firestarter book were given to us in dialogue.
I think splitting the perspective between Diane and Jackie was meant to give them both time for backstories and inner thoughts i.e. equal character building, but to be honest it weakened the story and their romance. Their breakup and what Jackie did is set up to be a mystery but instead of letting Diane angst over it and wondering if Jackie will actually own up/apologise/has changed etc. we cut away to the sad backstory explaining that she was in a terrible place and already feels guilty, meaning we're just sort of waiting around until she actually tells that to Diane. And when she does, she's just repeating everything we already know except the one tiny detail
that she didn't actually cheat on her
, which is also a very 'have your bread buttered on both sides' sort of thing - get your flawed, complex character but don't have them do anything actually bad or unforgiveable. I didn't even particularly have a problem with this by itself but it just follows the pattern of everything being done in half-measures. I'm not a mystery solving genius but I had the thought very, very early on
Oh, it's Tanwen because obviously the two boys are red herrings and she's the only other named character who has nothing to do with the cases so we have "no reason" to suspect her wink.
But surely not, right?
It was.
I really, really liked Diane but I was left thinking that she deserved better than Jackie for no other reason that she should be with somebody more interesting. The twins and their relationship was amazing for how little screentime they had - soooooo much to read into their expression changes!! But they were left as much of a loose end as the green pendant. Anyway, not terrible, but I'm glad I got it in a bundle.
Short 2-3 hour, basically entirely linear VN that delivers the ultimate male gamer fantasy of adult characters actually talking to each other honestly and solving their problems in a mature and reasonable way, leading a significant improvement of their lives. Truly unbelievable escapism in 2026. Most of the plot is pretty predictable, but the execution is still entertaining. Kinda wish thered been more resolution/follow up on a pretty dark side story?
故事一般,流程刚好在我不想玩完之前结束了,黑皮前妻姐好帅!
It's essentially a short kinetic visual novel (2-4 hours for most readers). It's about 50/50 between the romance and the investigation. You switch pov between Jackie and Diane from chapter to chapter. You do have some choices and some things to click on but it's not changing anything about the story. I personally think the story was charming. It takes something that could be cliche on paper and presents it in a way that keeps it interesting and original enough. I was familiar with the satanic panic of the 80s but not with the level of homophobia of the South of this era (my country was not a lot better at the time with lgbtq rights). I hope they do a second game. I also feel it would make a super interesting premise for a tv show. A kind of "Bones" but with lesbians in the South in the late 80s.
