As a high school physics teacher who loves video games, I always wished somebody could create a game that captures the wonder of videogames with the educational rigor of a real science class. So, I made it myself.
If you are studying physics in school or college, or just have an interest in physics and some of the deeper questions that science evokes, then this is the game for you.
I want to make this game accessible for everybody to learn physics. The game contains plenty of environmental cues to help guide you, as well as a hint system if you get stuck.
Don’t worry—Newton’s Fourth Law is designed to make physics accessible. With built-in visualizations and a hint system.

Don't be fooled: [b]the many positive evaluations are biaised, they don't evaluate the game but how physics enthusiasts feel for the game[/b]. Unfortunately, that gives a false idea about what the game is. 1. this is not about leanring physics, it's a physics exam. If you don't already know physics, you won't pass the tutorial, 2. solving these puzzles is about trial and error and guessing (and...actually, that's precisely pretty much like how real life public school logic works, so, goal? lol), 3. many solutions are theoretical only, and makes no sense in a practical settings, the game intself being a practical setting, it's pretty confusing, misleading. For example: the first puzzle of the game is in the third room (the first two rooms are useless to explain things). There, you have to apply a velocity to a cube so that the fast movement of a conveyonr belt underneath it slowly makes it slide and fall exactly on the right place. Except that: - the cube is not already moving, and there is nothing that can logically apply that velocity when we validate our input, - the cub stands on a platform that doesn't seem slipery and is not said to be slipery, so you can't tell that the cube can slide on it, and even if it did, it wouln't slide at that speed at all, - if the cube falls, realistically, depending on the timing an its possition, there are man many chances that it would touch the other blocks passing, which means game over. But the game makes it always fall at the right time and position 4. the text of the interfaces where you must type won't help you to understand what the game expect you to do (won't give you even a third of the information you need to "guess" the answer (because you have to guess). Sometime, they makes absolutely no sense in the context of the puzzle. For example, that of the first puzzle: "Imput the initial horizontal velocity to give the Physics Cube. Positive Values are to the right?" ??? 5. Nothing fun Just in case you were attracted because of that, despite of the graphics: this is only about puzzles that you solve by typing numbers. this is nothing like [i]Portal[/i] or [i]The Turing Test[/i]: There is no story. It's not like [i]Glitchspace[/i] either: you don't get to be the flying cube, to use physics to move around the room, you're just a spectator. = This [b]is not physics based, the evironment is not the context of the game, it's only a decor for the exam[/b]. This is not a game, it's a dry physic learning software in vr. I put recommendations in a comment if you are looking for physics based games made to be fun.
