Need for Speed™ Heat

Not gonna say it's a masterpiece, but the day/night gimmick is incredible. I prefer Need for Speed: Carbon. I know, kind of weird. Anyhow it ain't about Carbon. Heat is INSANELY GOOD, the customization is up there. The engines sounds lovely and the mufflers, god the mufflers. It makes me wanna go rapapapapapa outside

Highly enjoyable arcade racer with excellent car customization, a fun risk reward day night system, and exciting police chases that make nighttime driving especially fun, even if the story and progression can feel a bit repetitive over time or weak still great game.

It captures a Latin-infused Miami vibe, aided by a pleasant soundtrack and a good variety of vehicles; it feels like a blend of *MW* and *U2*. Despite a few flaws that could be ironed out with patches, it’s genuinely hard to put down once you’re hooked it’s a solid game, even if not an absolute masterpiece. If you’re looking to recapture that old-school feel, give it a go!

NFS Heat would have been better if EA and Ghost Games did not remove the Honda, Triumph and BMW bikes in the final game (except for BMW eventually getting its own bike fully appearing in NFS Unbound), but nevertheless, this was probably have been the best NFS game ever from the era of Ghost Games, and this was also Ghost Games's final work on NFS as they're becoming EA Gothenburg, and the next NFS (Unbound) is instead made by Criterion, and it's just NFS Heat 2, you know what I'm saying...
