So my view on this is more neutral than yay or nay Reason being is this game punishes you on a keyboard. I honestly was about to give up gaming due to this game. I decided to give it a go cause ive been in a game funk as of late, and thought why not go through some of the random indies I have. Mostly short simple indies to get achievements. I felt like an 80 yr old with a reaction time slower than a turtle on keyboard in this game, and at times was almost about to pull my hair out cause I know I did it perfect but could not get three skulls. The answer to this is play this with a controller. I was stuck on one level, which the game does not really show you the details or how to use the new mechanics that get randomly tossed at you out of no where. So i went to look up a video for like lvl 94 I believe, and the person who posted it had the whole game recorded in one single video. I decided to see how they did in earlier levels I got level 2 skulls on. I couldnt understand that even with them doing it perfectly like i did, they still had like 3-4 second remaining before it passed the level three skull to go to the lower level 2. So i got the idea to hook up my controller. The reaction time between controller and keyboard was night and day. I was redoing all the levels because ones i knew i did perfect, now i was finished with 4-5 seconds still remaining and getting 3 skulls. I could trip up maybe 3 times mid level and still complete it at 3 skulls and 3 seconds remaining before it went to 2 skulls. This p!ssed me off so much. Reason why I was so upset is because about 95% of games on steam i play with keyboard. There are a rare few that I will guarantee pull the controller out but I didnt think this one would depend on it. It is not keyboard friendly and I do not know if it works on steam deck but if it does I would expect the steam deck to work much like a controller and it would be much funner on there. I have not tried to check if it works on mine, cause again I mainly play on my pc. I dont know if i got this game in a bundle or if a friend, or my brother might of gave me an extra key. I just know I didnt intentionally buy it and i likely would not of on a whim. Its a fun little distraction but infuriating on keyboard

The game is quite buggy can't even beat it in current state (level 96 impossible due to bug) and controls feel clunky. Its an otherwise OK puzzle game

Sadly this game isn't even worth a dollar, or less, on sale. Don't get it. It all seems extremely cheap, to the point where there isn't even a volume control for the music. Too loud? Well, you can just turn it off, not down. Graphics and display? Nope. Honestly, the music is so repetitive and boring that in the end, maybe that is why they just went with an off button; and truthfully, it isn't all that much to look at. I went into this game thinking that maybe I could get a little bit of fun from it due to the cheap price, and despite the mixed reviews. I shouldn't have even bothered with this. I should have just seen that it had mixed reviews and stayed clear. I think that the game could be fun, I can see it, but there is a major problem holding it back, and that is the controls. You move the snake around normally, with the WASD keys, but tapping them doesn't work. Hold the key down for just a microsecond too long, and well you end up moving two spaces rather than one, ruining your attempt at the puzzle. The fact that your progress all depends on time, and you are constantly slipping and sliding around, just makes me angry and frustrated while playing this game. If the timer was removed so that I could be more cautious with my movement, that could make for a more enjoyable experience. However, it feels like this was something taken off of a phone or tablet, and quickly and clumsily put onto PC. I can see you moving the snake around with your finger, and it working quite well; but they did not do a good job in making the controls responsive to people pressing buttons, if this is indeed the case. If it isn't, then they just, from scratch, programmed a terrible control system. I honestly don't know what is worse. Don't buy this game, avoid it completely. Yes, it is cheap on sale and that can be tempting, but it is not worth the dollar it costs. Not fun in any way, shape, or form.
NecroWorm is basically a clone of Snake with its own artistic style. I would gladly give a "grey" thumb. It was not bad per se, but nothing really special to it. What made me lean towards the red thumb are several, basic bugs that I think should be corrected before a definitive release: - parts of the worm spawning in neighbouring cells although the worm has not moved to it yet - crippling bugs in the levels between 95 and 105 (roughly) where parts of the levels are completely buggy: rocks and empty cells through which you can actually go, bridges that do not work as such... I also agree with other comments complaining about the responsitivity of the controls: it sometimes feels like the worm moves too slowly in the direction given, and sometimes too quickly.
Snake w wersji cmentarnej xD Można poćwiczyć szare komórki i refleks. Męczenie 300 i 350 pkt jest dla kosmitów :D
This is NOT an addictive puzzle
