Necronomicon: The Dawning of Darkness

Ci sto giocando su Linux (Fedora). A parte il video mancante che ho ripristinato grazie al "fix" pubblicato da altri nelle recensioni, trovo davvero irritante che i tasti del mouse non funzionino. Sto usando il mouse per muovere il cursore E tasti Invio e Backspace al posto dei tasti del mouse. Venendo al gioco: l'ho comprato nella versione PC tanti ma tanti anni fa, prima dell'avvento di Steam. Saranno passati 20 anni. Capisco perché non fossi mai riuscito a finirlo: una parte degli enigmi è irrisolvibile poiché mancano del tutto gli indizi (un esempio: come ottenere il "fluido vitale"...). Ho dovuto ricorrere a soluzioni online non disponibili quando ho comprato il gioco anni e anni fa. Bella l'atmosfera e alcuni elementi davvero molto in stile Lovecraft. Peccato per i bug e, appunto, alcuni enigmi risolvibili solo andando a tentoni.

It's those kind of game that you would like to enjoy, but when playing it, no, you can't really enjoy it those days... I buy it, try it and the beginning of the game is just awful... try to be refunded, but too late... A few years later, I give it another try ... First, I really like those kind of adventure game (not a fan of HP lovecraft..) The game is ugly. that been said, it 's only on the beginning, after it's more and more pretty (for his age and budget ...) The music is not memorable.. the gameplay can put off a lot of people The game have an atmosphere and there are many cinematic and voice acting The really negative point for me are to things : No subtitles (English is not my native language and I always play my games with sub, more comprehensible) The stretched of the lifespan game : THE LABYRINTH ... How many times I've been lost in that game ... For me it's a no... I really started to use walkthrough when I was too many times stuck... You are often in the dark, pixel hunting, no it's really painful.. The story is basic, I was really annoying by the fact that : Who did all that ? the constructions etc ... How can those things still be functional ? Why they did that ? How nobody visit some of the locations during all those years ? Just shut up, it's a game ... But here is the problem, nobody believe that. it's too extraordinary.. The puzzle are hard (I read a guy who said the dev say 15 hours to finish it, but in 4/5 hours you can do it .. No, even with some soluce, you can't finish it on your first try in 4h.. Is I recommend it? Is it worth it ? Yes and no... Those kind of game follow many rules that all of them are present here. Just the difficulty of the puzzles and the many useful LABYRINTH are very annoying... Confusing is the word, when it's dark, when there is a Labyrinth, when you don't know what to do... Did I enjoy it ? no, not really... To frustrating ...
