Nancy Drew® Dossier: Lights, Camera, Curses!

I really love the Nancy Drew Dossier series, really wish it had continued. The the story is interesting enough, and the setting and art are great. Mini-games are kind of a pain in the butt but the main gameplay is a pretty fun spin on your standard HOG.

Lights, Camera, Curses! Is one of the most re-playable and causal Nancy Drew games I've ever played. The mini games are so much fun, and the setting of the game is so immersive. I love the story and every character has something about them to like. If you're new to mystery point and click games or just don't feel like keeping a notebook full of things to remember while playing, I'd recommend this game. :)

Not their best, but definitely an interesting change in gameplay. Putting together what goes together makes sense in theory. That said, the story was lacking, some of the puzzles were not particularly intuitive, and I didn't like the fact that you couldn't go back to certain chapters to get more points - you just had to start over if you wanted to get the "true ending." Still, an interesting play. 5/10.

A fun casual mystery game.

This game is definitely more geared towards a younger audience, so be aware if you are looking for a challenge. It was very easy to get through and I beat the entire game in a little over 5 hours. Since I received this game in a bundle with a bunch of other nancy drew games along with it, I won't say anything on the price beyond that I would not pay more than a few dollars.

Not a mystery game. It's only vaguely a Nancy Drew game - the graphics are a bit more polished, but everything is laid out for you step by step and the "mysteries" that you have to solve are simply finding hidden objects in large rooms and answering prompts to show that you were paying attention. There's never a moment where you don't know exactly what to do, which puts all the weight on the minigames to make it interesting - and they're not. They're just repetitive and very similar to what you could play for free on a mobile app.
