It's worth picking up. The graphics and style of the world leaves a little to be desired, but at this price point and it is a solo developer that is understandable. The battle system seems pretty fun, but unfortunately there isn't anybody online to play against so I only really have experience in the training/dummy mode. Fortunately, there is a fair amount of single player modes that make it worth playing. The puzzle game in particular is pretty darn fun and where I spend most of my time, but the other modes help me work up a sweat and are pretty good in their own right and help keep me active. Hopefully the game community grows and the developer keeps supporting it so that the online play gets going.
Unique VR game that provides several games within the game, huge plus! You choose your “Mythlink” from 3 characters available (Minerod, Urusagi, Galest), each has different capabilities. The abilities are built up by playing the strength, speed, and brain games. The games are fun and challenging. The strength (3 games) will make you work up a sweat quickly. The speed (2 games) will get you moving quickly back/forth and up/down, and make you work up a sweat. The brain (1 game) is probably my favorite (I’ve played it the most), great challenge, and it can get intense. You don’t need to only pick one Mythlink to bond with, though you can only play one at a time. The games you play to build up the abilities will not transfer from one Mythlink to the other. The higher your levels in the strength, speed and brain games - the more abilities become available to you for that particular Mythlink. Considering the number of games available, and the “Mythlink” abilities that can be obtained as you reach higher levels, the price of this VR game is very reasonable. I definitely recommend this game.

Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers/active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.
This is a comically awful VR tech demo/Pokemon ripoff with no players... you can of course just do VR tech demo minigames like training your Pokemon (amazing this was considered so bad Nintendo didn't even bother sueing, they're too busy with Palworld legal fights anyway) for nobody to fight because nobody plays this. Even after it was made free. This is a dead PvP game. Why did "Mythlink" fail? Time for a video game autopsy. Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails. Developers often assume just because they published their game, it's going to "go viral". I'm guessing this is a case of the developers making this game in complete isolation without even bothering to look at what other PvP games on Steam already offer. There's fierce competition in the PvP game arena... and I'm not referring to players fighting other players. There's thousands of PvP-only games but only a tiny handful of them are successful enough to attract and keep a wide player base. This game failed to compete and didn't get enough people to stay active. Despite being free, it did not have what it takes, it's as simple as that. First and foremost, there's no meaningful single player content. The developer gambled that other players would be an acceptable substitute for adding storytelling, level design etc to the Game. They lost that bet. Without a huge community of players or single player content to add a lasting value to the game, the game dies. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for adding content to a game. Visually, the game looks pretty bad (and decent visuals are a must, gaming is a visual medium), we can be sure this is not an asset flip. This is because the game assets look so bad, no self respecting asset creator would publish them. That's a fail. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets of any level of quality usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. It's VR exclusive, and that shows the developer failed to understand the most basic axiom of VR game design... if the only cool thing about your product is VR support, your product is not cool. Let's talk about pricing and the actual value this has for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $10 USD for this. Delusions of grandeur! Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
great
Tiene buen potencial. Muy buenos entrenamientos
Mythlink is a free VR monster battling game where we choose a creature, train it through different activities and then take it into battles. The main idea is that we are linked to our Mythlink, so improving ourselves through the training games also improves our monster. It is a pretty unusual idea for a VR game, and I like that it tries to make the player part of the progression rather than just controlling a creature from a distance. There are three Mythlinks to choose from, Minorod, Galest and Urusagi, and they all have different abilities and styles. Minorod focuses on lightning and earth, Galest uses wind and dark abilities, while Urusagi uses sound and light. Each one also has more than 25 abilities to work towards, so there is some room to build them differently rather than having three creatures that only look different. The training games are probably the most interesting part for me. There are six different minigames covering strength, speed and brain, and each one is designed around VR interaction. We can do things like punching exercises and other physical challenges, then use the results to improve our Mythlink. It is a fun idea, although some of the minigames feel more like simple training exercises than fully developed games. The actual battles are turn based and let us bring a custom selection of abilities into a fight. We can use up to nine abilities in a battle, which gives the combat a bit more strategy once we start understanding what each ability does. There is also online 1v1 battling, although the small size of the game means I would not expect a huge amount of activity around the multiplayer side. The biggest problem for me is the limited amount of content. There are only three creatures and six training games, so I can get a pretty good idea of what Mythlink offers without needing a huge amount of time. The training is fun at first, but repeating the same activities to improve stats can start feeling more like grinding than playing. The VR presentation is also quite basic. The low poly style fits the small indie nature of the game, and I like that the developer clearly designed the systems around room scale VR, but it does not have the polish of a bigger VR production. Some of the interactions can also feel a little awkward, especially when I am trying to get used to how everything works. I do like the fact that Mythlink is completely free now. It originally launched as a paid game in 2023 before being made free in January 2025, so there is a lot more value here when I can try the full game without paying anything. There are also 15 achievements, including some that require high scores and winning online matches. Overall, Mythlink is a strange but genuinely interesting VR experiment. I like the idea of personally training alongside a monster and then taking that creature into battle, and the different minigames give the progression something different from a normal RPG. The small roster, basic presentation and limited long term variety hold it back, but since the full game is free, I think it is worth trying if I already have compatible VR equipment. Rating: 7/10
The solo games alone make this game worth the purchase. I've been boxing and playing Tetris for almost 9 hours now. I can't wait to have some friends over to try the battling system. If it is as good as the solo games I will be hooked playing this game for a long time.
