Have sunk quite a few hours into the demo before the full release. There's a nice variety to the gameplay here with the training mode section offering more physical forms of VR gameplay in the strength and speed sections, while the brain training and Mythlink battle parts of the game offer more strategic gameplay. Brain training is especially a highlight as it essentially allows you to play a form of VR Tetris but with its own unique twists such as being able to layer in blocks below upper levels as long as there is space for it. This mode is especially addicting and could be a standalone puzzle title of its own as it carries enough unique aspects to differentiate itself from anything currently out there.

Mythlink is a paid monster battling game. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok, was understandable. Has a tutorial. You have a choice of 3 creatures to bond with, you can only chose 1. Has 6 mini-games for training you with your creature. Then you can fight your creature in an arena against other players online. Has 15 steam achievements. Maybe buy this on sale, if you like monster battling games. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program. Been playing since the Demo of the game. Very fun and interactive game. Will only get better with time as the developer has a lot of plans in the works. The mini-games all feel like games that would come as individual pieces. Boxing, Stack-Up (def not Tetris), ball dodger, all feel like games that would be $5 if sold by themselves. And those aren't even the main game. Great game, pick it up if you love monster battling games and games where you put in work to get better.
Okay, for all of you monster raising fans, this is a must. I was a huge Monster Rancher fan and this is the VR equivalent except with more immersive training. The puzzle game is hands down a masterpiece. I think it could even be its own game. I loved the leveling system and testing my new abilities on the battlefield. There is even online play which is an unexpected feature for battling. If you are on the fence, just give it a shot. Perfect for any VR enthusiast.

The graphics generally aren't my kind of style, but the game itself is fun. I find myself only playing Mythlink nowadays on my headset. Big fan of VR and I like to keep my eyes on very new release so I thought I would give it a try. I thought for $10, it couldn't hurt. That's like a cost of a coffee at Starbucks and I can at least support indie developers. To my surprise, it was well worth it. You get access to loads of mini games that are generally the price of $10 per game. You definitely get a lot of value out of this game. Great incorporation of VR. I'm also a big fan of Pokemon. It's clear this game was inspired by Pokemon. It's basically any Pokemon fan's dream where you can battle your monsters in real life. My favorite is Urusagi <3 Hope to see some more updates! Check it out, you won't be disappointed.
Unique VR game that provides several games within the game, huge plus! You choose your “Mythlink” from 3 characters available (Minerod, Urusagi, Galest), each has different capabilities. The abilities are built up by playing the strength, speed, and brain games. The games are fun and challenging. The strength (3 games) will make you work up a sweat quickly. The speed (2 games) will get you moving quickly back/forth and up/down, and make you work up a sweat. The brain (1 game) is probably my favorite (I’ve played it the most), great challenge, and it can get intense. You don’t need to only pick one Mythlink to bond with, though you can only play one at a time. The games you play to build up the abilities will not transfer from one Mythlink to the other. The higher your levels in the strength, speed and brain games - the more abilities become available to you for that particular Mythlink. Considering the number of games available, and the “Mythlink” abilities that can be obtained as you reach higher levels, the price of this VR game is very reasonable. I definitely recommend this game.
