Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 8 → 0.43/day in the week after.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Хорошая игра.
This game is awesome. I'm playing through it with my gf, and we're both loving it. I've wanted to get into it for a long time, it was highly praised when it came out and it still holds up. I've tried a couple times before but for some reason this time around I'm really locking into it. I believe any true lover of video games and their history should give this a shot.
Classic game that set the pace for gaming.

Pretty amazing
Amazing game, doable without looking at guides or soluces. Don't forget to take the white page with you at the end...
Runs well on Fedora Linux in 2026 out of the box. It is amazing that Cyan is still releasing updates as of 2025.
navigation is ass
OG
Myst holds up pretty well, all things considered. The puzzles aren't head-bangingly frustrating as I feared, and are actually quite satisfying to figure out. (there are a couple I did need to look up, and most of them had me going "oh, I should have thought of that!") The environments are generally pretty creative and memorable, and there's something charming about the early pre-rendered graphics. Overall, a great point-and-click to pick up.
A historical masterpiece of its time! Myst is currently 33 years old (as of 2026) yet beats most modern-day point n' click puzzles. The universe is so interesting and the puzzles are timeless and fair. Most 90's puzzles were way too unfair and difficult and left you with a sour taste when you finally beat them but in Myst you actually feel rewarded. You can tell they really pushed the limitations of their hardware and software back then because it's honestly mind boggling what they achieved. The graphics holds up surprisingly well and the movement is good even though it's essentially a slideshow. This Steam version technically isn't the 1993 original but the 1999 Masterpiece Edition which essentially is the exact same game, just with better audio and enhanced color space. So if you have a 1993 CD-ROM laying around I'd recommend playing that one just to experience how insane of an achievement this was back in the day. I know there's multiple remakes of this first instalment alone plus more titles and I'll probably play them all. There's also actual physical books which I also want to read in the near future. Honestly a must-play if you're into puzzle games!
