the was one of the least interactive experiences i've had playing a game no scoring system, no combo system, just a "you did it!" after you clear a song i knew this was a ripoff of trombone champ, but STEALING ASSETS APPARENTLY? as someone who was a fan of my singing monsters for over 10 years, this is incredibly disappointing
Charming for all of one song. Basically just Trombone Champ if the instruments were bad, and the charting system barely worked. Offbrand version of Trombone Champ for free, don't play this. Go play that.

I do not recommend this game. As a rhythm game, it falls flat in so many ways. Only 8 songs, no way to keep track of how well you're doing, there's no reason to change the monster you play since the charts are the same for all of them. You'd basically be choosing which ones sound less crappy when they're singing the song. It was such a missed opportunity to not have the monsters sing different parts of the song, like the original game does. It feels more like a demo than a full game. Kind of egregious not to have an option to turn down the sound effect volume or the master volume, it sucked to have the menu sounds and music still be loud af even after I turn everything way down. At least the visuals look polished.
It was a free hour of fun sure, but i'm literally never going to open this game ever again chile i actually love the art direction for the monsters, but the gameplay is just... boring. theres literally no attempt to make the game unique, it couldve been a multiplayer game where each of you controls a different monsters voice, and you build the song like in the original game, this game just doesnt do anything worthwhile, if you want to play trombone champ, just get trombone champ, and if you like the monsters... just play the mobile game. it insists upon existing.... me no like 4/10
"Sing in Style - Buy Now" FU!!!!! With this strange new MSM Karaoke game around now (by the way, what a ridiculous and misleading title), I decided to give the original game a second chance and downloaded the mobile version. Back then I eventually got rid of the game for several reasons, one of them being how fed up I was with things like their in-game monetization methods and the huge amount of DLCs. But for me the mobile version is completely unplayable because of the incredibly annoying ads. And well, it’s more or less the same thing here, MSM Karaoke is an absolute disaster of a game. Some other reviewers have already mentioned it but I don’t think it can be said often enough, and there’s also something important that needs to be emphasized, this game is a Trombone Champ clone and not even a good one. There are no new ideas, nothing really exciting, not even basic and predictable features. You pick one of the most overloaded and annoying songs and create some kind of cacophony, which you’ll usually even get the jury excited about and somehow get away with. In my opinion, hardly any effort went into this game, and the characters they look just awful. Big Blue Bubble is carrying on with what they’re slowly becoming known for, desperately and aggressively trying to squeeze as much money out of a product as possible. So watch out because in the menu the buttons can suddenly overlap, which is a pretty sneaky trick since you might accidentally end up hitting the “Buy Now” button. And there’s already a DLC that lets you unlock the rare monsters, which and surprise surprise, doesn’t actually add anything new because they sound exactly the same. I bet the next DLCs for MSM Karaoke will be coming soon, mark my words.
Literally the exact same controls as Trombone Champ, and (regardless of this game not having a point-based system) there are some levels that are near impossible, if not impossible, to hit all of the notes. At least the base game is free, but a day one paid DLC? For cosmetics? This is exactly what Cyberleek was talking about. Thanks for the easy 100% Steam achievement game though.
I need to import donkey noises so the monsters can sing along to that!
Super cute little game. I don't really appreciate the people going to bother trombone champ fans, but it is what it is. I'm sure this just exists as an offshoot of the bbno$ collab, hence why it's free. Still, it would have been nice to see something more inspired. Either way, it's a fun toy for a few hours, so I don't see any reason it shouldn't exist. Bias free section: As a rhythm game, it does not take itself seriously enough to bother taking seriously yourself. As a game it's pretty small in scope. As a trombone champ clone, It's not very close in quality. Overall, pretty objectively mid. It's cute though! I don't see a reason to not play it given the price, but if you like the style go play the game everyone's comparing it to. You'll like it even more.
This was um, not very good, not gonna lie. My hand physically can't go that fast and all songs are difficult. Despite failing *extremely* badly and literally holding in the mouse and barely letting go, desperately trying to hit the notes and doing very badly at it, the judges all go "Bro it's perfect!" Basically, just hold the mouse and just slide your mouse towards the notes without breaks or even good accuracy, and you'll win. Strange.
this isnt really anything bad, but this is basically trombone champ (same game, mechanics and workshop feature) but you get the msm monsters and while trombone champ is a paid game, this is for free meaning you'd be stealing revenue from trombone champ. also its very easy to 100% and thats funny to me
