MXGP 24: The Official Game

The game is okay. I don't think it's as terrible as everyone says, it's more disappointing. After 3 years from the last game in the series, you'd think they would take that extra time to come back with a game that has better graphics, sound and gameplay features. What you actually get is a bare bones experience that doesn't seem to do anything better than the games that came before. In terms of graphics, it doesn't really provide anything impressive. The riders lack detail and the animations are very basic. The tracks look okay, but the lighting can be vastly improved, especially during rainy weather. I still wish there was some more track deformation as the ground seems to be made of plastic as your bike glides across the terrain. Sound it very bland, not every exciting. You get the hum of your engine as your accelerating. No music during racing, environment and crowd noise is basically non existent. Whenever I play these dirt bike games I usually just run through the career mode. The career mode in MXGP 24 is annoying. For some reason you have to win races and complete objectives to gain money. The money is used to "buy in" into the next GP. That means if you screw up, you could potentially lock yourself out of the next race. There isn't a restart option during races, and if you leave before starting a race and your in a multi race GP, it automatically makes you retire. So far the game is quite easy, but I hear it can get more difficult later in the career. Performance wise the game works great out of the box. I've had issues with these bike games in the past but the only glaring issue so far is the micro stutter/choppiness when the camera pans during turns. No crashes or other technical difficulties so far. I still have to play more of the game for a final review score, but so far it's around a 5.5/6 out of 10. IMO the only other game in the series worse than this one is MXGP 2 for me. PS. I paid less than $5 for this game :P

Last time that I listen to reviews. AI is pretty good, physics are actually decent once you get the controls down and using the left and right stick together. Braking is essential to avoid extreme sliding into the corners, easy to set the bikes up to handle how you want them, and first person is really well done. It's definitely a fun game to pick up and rip around in. Looking forward to their next MXGP game.

Better than MXATVLegends and more fun of MXGP series for me. 👌

Gameplay horrible, graphismes des années 2000, position du pilote, bruits des motos exécrables, payé 12 E et c'est bien assez, à fuir, c' est honteux.

O que aconteceu com essa franquia, não lembro de ter tido uma experiencia tão horrível. Com 5 minutos de jogo já pedi devolução.
