Honestly, I wish I could give this a thumbs up, but I can't. It feels like encounters are specifically made to be stealth-scummed. I hoped it would be more like XCOM but I don't see that happening. You can barely buff your damage output, the "skill-tree" is extremely linear and there is no way to reliably farm currencies or EXP to somehow get "ahead of the curve". It feels like a slog and I am in the early-game. I can't imagine how bad it will get if it starts out like this.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

TL;DR — 6.5/10
I don't think advertising this game as "If XCOM and Fallout had a baby..." is the right way to describe it. It's more like "If Commandos and The Last of Us had a baby."
What it is
A heavily stealth-focused game where completing a map is mostly about picking enemies off one by one before engaging the last few in direct combat. It's much more focused on the story and characters and feels more like an adventure game than an RPG.
What it is not
An XCOM game. You can only have three people in your party, and you generally don't want to engage enemies when they have the advantage. Instead, you focus on stealthily killing as many enemies as possible before dealing with the few that can't be taken out quietly. The world is thematic, but it's not really Fallout. It's more like Atomfall: you have mechs, overgrown settlements, and a post-apocalyptic setting, but there aren't many NPCs or much of a living world.
The gameplay
Overall, I'd say it's a solid game, but it feels a bit like a "cheesing simulator." You wait for an enemy to walk away from the group, then use all your cooldowns to kill them in one turn so they don't alert their buddies. Alternatively, you stun-lock them and finish them off. Then you rinse and repeat this about six times. What's left are usually one or two groups of 2–3 enemies that won't wander off, so you finally engage them directly. This is basically every map in the game. It gets old quite quickly, and the fact that you only have a three-person team means you don't have that much room for tactics or flexibility. There are fewer interesting combinations and fewer situations where you have to adapt your strategy.
The good stuff
The dialogue between the party members is probably my favourite part. It flows nicely, and the voice acting is solid. The hit chance system is also much better than XCOM's, in my opinion. It's simplified to 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, but it feels much more fair and predictable. Overall: 6.5/10. It's a solid game with good characters, dialogue, and presentation, but the core gameplay loop gets repetitive pretty quickly. If you're expecting an XCOM-style tactical RPG, you might be disappointed. If you go in expecting a stealth-focused tactical adventure, you'll probably have a better time.
