This game is a little gem, I highly recommend it!
Thats amazing game
Another day, another squirrel game that I suddenly found and played. Good nuts: - Dynamic gameplay - Cool special effects - Awesome music - Some replayability because gems spawn differently when replaying the level - Small gems show you where to go - Intro and ending are better than in most squirrel games Not very good nuts: - Game does not show the amount of collected gems or saved gnomes - Music is not written for this game - It's way TOO SHORT, can be beaten in half a hour That was fast and fun, I just wish it lasted longer...

A fun combination between platforming and shooting. Interesting wall-walking and gliding mechanics keep things interesting. Old school hard at times. After the update enemies are less aggressive making navigating the levels a lot better, and new tiny gems make objective paths clearer. Recommended to anyone looking a nice throwback to classic NES or Genesis platformers of the 90s.
Great little platformer with crisp graphics and catchy chiptunes that really shines when it comes to movement options and pace. Good design and fair challenge abound, although it is a bit short.
It is a very fun game! The enemies can be tough at times, but with a bit of practice you'll easily get them. The style is very cool looking and the controls (gamepad & WASD) are great. It threw me off a bit, that you can't use your mouse in the menu, but you can use your arrow-keys. The gameplay reminds me a bit of Super Mario Bros. but it is in no way a copy-cat. It is very light-weight, it will run on pretty much any pc that can run Steam. Overall: If you like parcour games, you will like this. It's an amazing value! Very well done!
Genre: -Retro Action Platformer Fit for me: -Good fit Pros: -Collecting the jewels and gnomes adds another layer of challenge, but it's optional, so they've essentially created an easy mode and a hard mode, which works well -Movement and shooting is similar to a twin stick shooter in that you can shoot in 4 directions while moving in 4 directions w/ the opposite hand. I thought this was a good game design choice. -Lots of powerups adds variety to the gameplay -Super cheap at under $2 Cons: -The main flying mechanic doesn't work well, especially when in tight spaces combined w/ the auto lock onto walls. This becomes extremely frustrating, as most of my deaths occurred b/c I got stuck on a platform or wall when I didn't actually want to do that. -Jumping straight up feels odd, I'm not sure why but it never felt right -I had a hard time controlling my squirrel while trying to combo jumps w/ flying/hovering -The second boss felt like a massive bullet sponge. I think there could have been a more creative way to challenge the player. I was able to avoid all the falling rocks, but I usually died b/c while trying to avoid enemies/projectiles, I would get stuck to a moving platform and jump into a spike. Thoughts: -This game just wasn't for me. I probably could have gotten used to everything if I had spent more time practicing, but I simply didn't enjoy most of my experience. I liked the aesthetic, but just didn't find the game fun or engaging, so I can't recommend this one. Consensus: -Bottom Shelf Game (Tier 5 and makes up 10% of my reviews).
I did not expect to like this game as much as I do. I love the aesthetic and the gameplay was engaging and fun.
