Reviews

Every market we collect.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Good value for the price. It's got a good overarching plot behind the individual murder mysteries that lead into a good climax. There are few things about the game that can be a bit annoying. Namely, the game doesn't start in English even if you've got that language set in your steam properties. You have to basically guess which of the Chinese prompts is the settings and then the language option. In the game itself, a few of the evidence prompts required some bigger leaps in logic that I wasn't able to follow, so I had to guess, which leads to a game over and then needing to replay sections. I didn't, at first, realize I could load an autosave to minimize the amount of dialogue I had to replay, but once I did that made things easier. The game clearly draws on actual Chinese history, as it peppers real life facts throughout the game as you play, and the inspiration for the story draws on historical conflicts/tensions. This educational aspect doesn't overshadow the entertainment value, however. It's a game first and foremost, and it uses that game as a vehicle to help educate. I would be interested in seeing a sequel.
