amazing
I honestly expected to mess around with it for a few hours and move on. Instead, I've dumped hundreds of hours into it, rented a server, dragged our community into it, and somehow still find myself saying, "Just one more job before bed" at 5 AM. What I love most is that Motor Town doesn't tell you how to play. One night I'm hauling freight across the map, the next I'm towing wrecks, or just cruising around with the community causing harmless chaos. There always seems to be something to do, and if there isn't, making your own fun somehow becomes the game. The driving feels great, easy enough to relax with after a long day, but with enough depth to keep you engaged. The economy and progression give you goals without feeling grindy, and there are enough vehicles and jobs to keep things fresh. Sure, it's Early Access, and you may run into the occasional bug (rare), weird AI moment, or feature that still needs some love. But honestly, the amount of enjoyment I've gotten out of Motor Town makes those issues feel pretty minor. Highly recommended. It's become one of my favorite driving/simulation games, and I can't wait to see where the developers take it next.
JOIN a multiplayer server, one with high numbers, and a discord, it will make your experience so much more fun and easier, not easier like, oh this game so easy, but letting you focus on what you want to truly want to do
love it modded twin turbo garbage truck zoom zoom
Fun game You can join a server and enjoy coop or just traffic and road assistance. Then you can just go to singleplayer, set NPC traffic and cops as you like, and grind a bit yourself. Joining MP is somewhat easier than starting solo - game is intended to be multiplayer. MP servers typically will have some TP points (houses and campers), and in singleplayer you need to farm up and buy those yourself. This combined with 0 starting economy can be very painful experience, but I do highly recommend to just hop into a populated server, figure stuff out, then go solo and build your island up! Also tremendously well optimized as far as performance is concerned - 1440p res 60fps is stable on "epic" settings. Only on Cinematic did it choke up to 40-46 in my case. On Multiplayer there's more variables and stuff can clog up a bit at times, but usually rubberbanding is observed rather than experienced (you won't rubberband to yourself so you can carry on with whatever) Stuff to do: - Be a taxi - Be a bus - Hire AI Bus drivers - Be a trucker - Hire AI truckers - Customize vehicles (Extensively, suspension mods, engines, transmissions, paints) - Explore - Figure out chains of industry, imports and exports affecting economy - Fall off a cliff with valuable cargo - Firefighting - Towing - Pizza and Grocery deliveries - Offroad mountaineering and mud
Plays wonderful on my laptop in power saving mode. Reminds me of the good years in Elite Dangerous :)
Haven't played a whole lot , bit being a fan of driving games . This one hits the nail on the head . Simple fun and a decent amount of content, can only hope they continue to add more. Graphics are middle ground at best , but theres something charming about it . Runs super smooth with almost non-issue ive seen so far. Lots of cars , trucks and other vehicles and the ability to customize them. I would highly recommend to driving fans 8/10 . Super fun to just deliver stuff
