After playing this game for over 100 hours i can tell you this: Are the graphics top notch? No Are the vehicles licensed? No Is the game hard to get into at first? Yes But the satisfaction of finally understanding Motortown is unmet in any other trucking/driving game i've ever played. But Motortown offers you a really deep and immersive trucking sim, alongside a bunch of other jobs like wrecking, firefighting, driving a taxi or bus and so much more. The game also features a nice economy system with supply and demand, you can own a company and dispatch your own AI fleet of trucks, busses, taxis and place depots on designated plots of land in order to maintain the vehicles, and everything can be easily found out about through the ingame motorpedia or the game wiki (which is a tad bit outdated as of today). If you've enjoyed either eurotruck or the runner games (Snowrunner, Mudrunner etc.) you will deffinetly enjoy this one. (trust me, i've got more than 500h on sr) Also, Motortown recieves frequent updates featuring more cargo types to transport, new proffesionally modeled vehicles and places to visit. The online community is helpfull too, so if you're struggling with anything, dont hesitate to hop on an online server and ask somebody. Im sorry if the reviev is a bit frantic, it's really hard to list everything good about this title in one reviev. Overall 9.5/10, i really love motortown and i hope to see a lot more in future updates.

I haven't wrote a review for this game but i think it's finally time , i know it's an early access title so updates and things like that are expected but holy , for 1 dev the cadence of updates is amazing and not just the timing , the content and quality , you can def see the game slowly transitioning froma a indie project to an A Game , yknow what i mean? I was afraid of the of graphics being to cartoony but i was wrong , def a good choice for what it can do , and lowkey makes you feel like a kid again but instead of playing with toy cars you are playing with a company management system and hauling materials to your sites , or if you just wanna chill there's other jobs you can do in the game. if you're not creative when it takes to customizing vehicles then you have the whole of workshop and see another player's creations , as for the company jobs and leveling , and building .. perfect , i like it takes a fair bit of time to reach a point where you have an automated company , that you need to grind for levels and building mats. i know i mentioned cartoony but the world and cars are def not cartoony , they are very focused on realism when building out these cars and trucks which i love it's a good balance, also physics is nice to look at that whenever the boxes move around if you don't strap em in the systems are great , the city is great , the profession and the rpg elements are great , the 1.0 of this game is gonna be glorious, amazing job MrHwang and good luck with the rest of the game
This is the first game of this genre i have played. The freedom the player has is incredible. Its nice to have to learn things for yourself. Or check online for pointers. But that is great, it makes players learn the game and the world. Gameplay loop is addicting and satisfying. I found myself staying up far later than i have in years playing this. Just one more delivery, one more contract, just gotta make this much money so i can purchase a vehicle to be able to make more money. The custom vehicles are amazing. The gameplay feels rewarding and can be a challenge at times. The online play is cool, no issues with other players. Everyone one seems to be helpful if you need it. Overall I have been recommending this game to anyone that likes driving, business sims and life sims. I hope to see this game grow and develop further. The possibilites are incredible. Community missions would be great and further insentive to play multiplayer. Having a map that is developed and built by players even more so would be an incredible experience. (One small town to start and the players build and shape outward from there. Wood clearing, damn building, Bridge building. Imagine the community built the bridges that connect to the larger island. A whole community grind project to open up more resources and allowing the world to grow more and more. Big mission like that would be amazing to take part in. I have ranted long enough. This game has its hooks in me. I have not had a game give me that feeling and stay on my mind like this one has in awhile. I highly reccomend this to anyone old enough to read and write.
1. NPC's brake and slow down for no reason causing unnecessary wrecks. They also do not go the speed limit on every road 2. 5-10mph or kph leeway over the speed limit like in real life. Should not get lit up for 1mph over because that's just not how it is in real life. 3. Also surrendering should be a button on the controller and should not require a confirmation, also causes unnecessary wrecks. 4. Need a way to tell what vehicle is offroad capable and 4x4, or if it does not have those capabilities. 5. Would be cool to be able to buy clothing at all stores. Like the boots at the motorcycle shop and the one in the mountains. 6. Towing should not increase after every tow, but instead be based off of location, vehicle and vehicle weight. 7. More road construction or like how it is in ATS and ETS they have roads blocked off forcing you to find another route or risking it and squeezing past. 8. More Car models and Motorcycle models. 9. Traffic lights should not always be flashing yellow. Need to be red and green so you can also get pulled over or lit up for running red if cop is near by. 10. Auto Pilot should not jerk you to the lane, instead should maneuver smoothly and engine temp rises too high while using it. 11. Should be more banks 12. Need a parking brake for parking on a hill 13. If using MPH, Top speed needs to show up as MPH also. 14. The third camera option is either broken or pointless. Removes all cars body panels. 15. Vehicles should not get stuck off road or in grass so easily 16. When applying brake, you should not spin out as easy or the back end should not get so lose. I can barley stop without my car coming out from beneath me. 17. Pushing your vehicle should always be allowed. Can should be allowed to tow cars with other cars instead on needing a tow truck or flatbed. Fun game, enjoy all the learning it has and like how it doesn't hold your hand all the way through the game.
