Looking good, though short even for a demo (my time is based on playing the game twice). I hope Bull Rush isn't nerfed in the full verison, trading free action in exchange for damage isn't good for minotaur
artifacts are a great addition, so much fun to have passive skills that really change up the unique ways the battle can be conducted. Art direction is funn, i'd beef up the sounds a bit to add even more emotional impact when you get a sudden kill or sudden death or get some cool treasure. A little story would go a long way: "why do i as a player care that i'm traveling across a map to all these varied gladiatorial arenas?" Something to do with the crowd, man. I know you're almost to full release but some sort of impressing the crowd mechanic will add both immersion AND mechanical fun. If i could interact with the crowd, or they interact with me, i think mortal glory would evolve into its proper sequel form. Go watch gladiator and the movie 300 for inspiration. Its gonna be great :)

Excited for the full game!
Really nice update from Mortal Glory 1. Everything feels much more satisfying and polished. Super short demo though I hope he wasn't using generative AI in those event portraits Edit: Looks like he's not using AI so everything's fine. You can check the game out it's a great demo!
It actually feels like a downgrade from the previous game. More needs to be added to the base game to make it worth it. The DLC should probably have just been part of the base game.
first of all, thank you for making a sequel to my favorite game. I love the new design. The new map is a great idea and offers a new perspective. The battles are fluid for the moment. I congratulate you on your work, the game is very attentive to detail.

Thankjs for the demo Look more funny in intros than in play.
"Mortal Glory 2 Prologue" is Mortal Glory 2 Prologue is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Mortal Glory 2". Mortal Glory 2 is a godawfully bad 2D retro pixelcrap turn based tactical combat/gladiator management game that seems to have been designed for furries But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Mortal Glory 2, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Mortal Glory 2 Prologue" too. Instead of following the Official Steamworks Process For Demos, the developer decided to pollute Steam with for-profit advertising. Whether this is deliberate and malicious, or simply ignorance and incompetence, the result is deceptive marketing. This is bad for gamers and bad for genuine developers who do the right thing, because they have to compete for visibility against these misleading advertisements. That's not okay! The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out a whopping $12 USD on buying Mortal Glory 2, and I don't recommend you do that either. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. As an advertisement, this is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. It's important to understand there's a formal process to create a demo/page for a game which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos While it might seem like an innocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. Often developers may choose to incorrectly publish demo/advertisements as separate games as a cheap way to bypass paying Valve for marketing presence on the Steam front page, which may seem clever to them, but it's harmful behaviour and it's not good for gamers. In terms of public reception, the "free" price tag didn't help. This peaked at a handful of players and then immediately cratered. With a peak count of less than 50 gamers (out of over 130 million gamers and over 40 million daily logons), it’s safe to say the PC gaming community has collectively decided to ignore this, probably because of the reasons supplied in this review. Advertisements and incorrectly published demos don't add +1 to your game collector count, they aren't full games. It's impossible for me to recommend this incorrectly published advertising spam to gamers, you deserve better than adverts.
