About
Morimens is a roguelite card-battling game set in a world inspired by the Lovecratian mythos.
Something is wrong with Kadath. Bond with hauntingly beautiful Awakeners, build a deck from the remnants of their power, and push deeper into the mist—where the events get stranger, the cards get darker, and the truth is something you may not survive knowing.

The world is dying, yet its inhabitants remain blissfully unaware.
Confronted with a creeping, unspeakable calamity, you shall take on the role of Keeper, awakening powers intertwined with the very doom threatening existence. You will link yourself with sentient weapons teetering on the brink of madness, to withstand this monumental crisis.
If all is destined to be forgotten, would you bear the burden of secrets as testament to the world's existence, forging ahead into the unknown?
Let these tombstones bear witness, and may the Silver Key light our way.
Welcome to Mythag University, Keeper.

Beautiful where it wants to be, and deeply wrong where it doesn't—from strikingly beautiful Awakeners to visceral body horror, no two encounters look the same.
Four distinctive Realms—each with unique gameplay mechanics—form the backbone of your experience, supported by an ever-expanding library of 185+ cards and counting.
Whether you prefer overwhelming force or razor-thin combos, the depth of options lets you build exactly the deck you want, and pull off victories that feel truly earned!
Easy to pick up, endlessly replayable!
Random Events, Orison card buffs, Relic drops... every run brings a reshuffled landscape of surprises and challenges at every turn.
With out-of-run progression, flexible deckbuilding, and forgiving death mechanics, Morimens meets you where you are—whether you're a roguelite veteran or a first-time Keeper.
Haunting soundtracks and heart-rending stories draw you deeper, episode by episode, into madness, despair, and the abyss of truth, illuminating the full spectrum of human nature: from the depths of despair to the last flicker of hope.
Engage in single-player challenges that push your strategic thinking to the limit; meanwhile, the Traphase mode offers a competitive PvP experience, with brand-new card effects and mechanics. No character-building required: dive straight in and compete against other players on equal footing!
Thank you for venturing into the world of Morimens! Nothing means more to us than having you here. If you enjoy Morimens or have any feedback about your experience, please do share it with us!
Though this world may be fraught with peril, we are delighted to have crossed paths.
May the Silver Key light our way.

I play on mobile so that's why my hours here are low but I've been playing for over a year. I would not recommend the game in it's current state. The team have shadow nerfed characters with no compensation. Introduced 10 times hp inflation worse than anything Hoyoverse have ever done. Made 80% of the roster unable to clear the endgame all in a single patch. The compensation for this is 100 pulls which will expire in 3 months. This is a game I can no longer support or recommend because anything you do or spend money on will likely become useless in a month. I literally spent money last week on the character they have nerfed under the guise of a bugfix. I'd advise anyone who wants to try this game to not spend any money. Also unfortunately all guides are now wrong as like I said earlier 80% of the characters in the game even ones that were on banner 3 weeks ago are now useless. At least with other gachas those characters would be relevant for at least 3 months. Well in morimens they are now only relevant whilst on banner before they are gutted. The devs need to revert all changes.

I can't recommend this game after the 2.6 update. I think the devs simply can't understand that these card rougelikes play best if they are treated as a sandbox rather then some sort of invisible PVP where they are controlling their enemy and as such have to nerf every unit we have to levels of ass we haven't seen before. They literally released this new amazing unit in 2.5 (GLotan) who played really nicely, was meta with a design everyone liked whether in terms of gameplay or aesthetic and then now that character shouldn't even be used in the end-game mode if not whaled out to the maximum. For context on my hours, most of my recent hours have been in mobile.
It sucks to see a game I once genuinely enjoyed go downhill this quickly through one anti-consumer decision after another. I won’t go into detail about everything that has happened, since plenty of others have already explained those issues far better than I could. I’d encourage anyone curious to look through the reviews posted since September 1st. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this game anymore. It’s disappointing to see something I once enjoyed head in this direction.
Pretty messed up what they did to d-tide. Also uncool to arbitrarily nerf one of my favorite awakeners under the pretense of a bug fix. I've been playing the game for over a year and I would usually emphatically recommend it but this kind of thing sets a very scary precedent
Horrible changes recently
I found this game recently via random Youtube recommendations. TL;DR: While I have had a lot of fun, and am likely to keep playing for at least a little while longer, I cannot recommend the game in its current state. In particular, I would actively discourage giving this game any money. The developers have shown a habit of subjecting the players to bait-and-switches, running character banners only to nerf those characters (directly or indirectly) immediately afterwards. The game balance is also abysmal, to the point I don't think it can even be accurately called that. For a more comprehensive list of issues: 1. With standard banner characters, the recommended mission level is about 5 levels higher than it needs to be (as in, a level 20 team can take on a level 25 challenge without too much effort). With limited banner characters, that discrepancy goes up to 10-20 levels. What this means is that getting all of the achievements with standard characters at the right level is trivial. With limited banner characters, even just one on the team will result in eliminating bosses in one turn and sometimes one card, or else trivialize surviving against the boss indefinitely. For early story, having more than one on a team is entirely superfluous. 2. To combat this level of power creep, later stages and game modes have recently had bosses changed to have in some cases around a hundred times the HP pool they used to, and to deal massively inflated damage. This is instead of, but also sometimes in addition to, properly challenging mechanics. 3. The result of those two factors means that people who don't invest an absurd amount of time and money into the game can expect to not be able to win at all in late-game. You cannot get the things needed without both. 4. On top of all of this, limited characters have in multiple instances been rendered obsolete via nerfs (or "bug fixes" for "bugs" the developers had openly stated they were aware of well before the character banner rerun, but had no intention to fix until after) immediately after a banner for them was run, resulting in everyone who grabbed them because they were a meta pick (or even, in the most recent case, because the character was fun and only moderately strong) getting scammed. 5. In order to unlock side stories, you have to use a limited resource of which you get one per day (up to 3 if you pay). Each side story chapter costs between 3 and 7 of that resource. Even to unlock just the essential side story chapters that shouldn't even be side story, you have to do your dailies for around a month. If you go through the main story quickly, you'll have to either stop and wait for days to a week in the middle to get the requisite side story chapters, or skip them and come back later, resulting in missing information for later main chapters and lackluster experiences of those side chapters due to distance from the intended point of playing. 6. The essential side story chapters are not listed anywhere except in community guides. There is no official resource that distinguishes the necessary side chapters from the unnecessary ones. At least one side story chapter is also placed in the wrong place in the official guide, meaning following that will cause you to be exposed to spoilers for later in the main story, and this has been a known issue for at least 9 months and still has not been fixed. 7. Characters belong to one of four "realms", each of which grants a specific effect. Recent new limited characters alter the realms they belong to, in 3/4 cases making the realms objectively worse, and it has been stated that all new characters will do this. 8. The PvP mode has been effectively abandoned, allegedly due to lacking manpower, but given the other decisions being made, I have to doubt the veracity of that claim. 9. Character affinity is a gauge of how much a given character likes you. Leveling it up gets you resources and the characters' stories. Affinity gain was recently altered, and now it can be expected that it will take up to a year to level one character's affinity. If you like a specific character and want to know more about them, be ready for a long grind. 10. The developers frequently ask for player feedback, but evidently do not read any of it. It genuinely seems like a complete waste of time to mention issues in the feedback forms or the Discord server. If you get any response, it will be at most a lukewarm "We'll look into it" with no future action. 11. In the late-game, at present, you can expect there to be 3-4 viable builds. This is a new development; there used to be much more freedom with team building while still allowing competitive performance. In short, if you do decide to play this game, any money you spend can be safely assumed to retroactively be made a waste shortly thereafter. Please refrain until the developers show that they can be trusted, because at present there is no evidence they can be. Points 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are all personal issues I take with the game in its current state, but are echoed in the community. The others are issues that are widely complained about in the community, and, having watched others play the game, I full-heartedly agree with those complaints.
Devs got veeery greedy. To the point even whales on CN complain and quit. So while game itself nice. And I would say stroy is worth playing. I would advise against any spending in the game. If you trying it out. I would say treat it as filer game.
I have played the games on mobile for hundreds of hours, but in steam, i wanted to give a negative review follow with a 2.6 updates where the dtide is extremely difficult and affinity changes. Im dissapointed and hope they revert the changes.
このゲームタップ早すぎたり戦闘終わった後に確率でフリーズして操作できなくなるんだよね タスクキルして入り直すしかなくてマジでうざいわ 私の端末の問題なのかわかんないけど
