Mordheim: City of the Damned is the first video game adaptation of Games Workshop's cult classic tabletop game Mordheim. Set in the Warhammer World's decimated Empire city, Mordheim: City of the Damned is a turn-based tactical game where you lead warbands into bloody and lethal skirmishes.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 13 → 2.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

А мне понравилось
好玩且难,地图设计及其阴间,五个档多数卡在图书馆迷宫,那关找路找的我身心俱疲,那几个混沌敌人又死难死难
Excellent gamer, I lost 100 happy hours in it, wish there was a sequel. Definatly worth it when its on sale.
I love this game, - sitting with a cup of coffee and watching my ambush-setups work like a charm, - or spilling my coffee when being suprised by my enemies ambush-setups 😄 #MordheimCOTD is about building a Warband of Henchmen & Heroes But 'Mordheim ft. MageM4STER' is about being just ONE of the Warband-Members: ME, MageM4STER! The Captain calls the shots! 😉 There's no other Mordheim-Gameplay like this(on YouTube): https://youtube.com/channel/UCueBkLB6_iuJF77lEJHwTXA?sub_confirmation=1
There is an undeniable amount of jank in Mordheim: City of the Damned. From the sometimes unclear and often cumbersome UI, to the way movement works and sometimes units get stuck on invisible terrain for no reason so you have to move around a bit to squeeze past. Sometimes attack animations will not play either, so you just see that the enemy missed if you check the combat log. Most of the jank is in the AI - from how it builds its warbands with seemingly no rhyme or reason, to how its units will sometimes remain stuck on a balcony for the entire battle. But none of that is truly a dealbreaker, and underneath the jank there's an excellent game system and a very addicting gameplay loop. Combat is pretty complex with the variety of both passive and active skills (lots of different builds to try out), and also tense as time to kill is very short so every mistake can be fatal. The enforced ironman mechanic, along the risk of permanent injury when any unit gets knocked out, definitely adds to the tension. Mordheim is punishing and unforgiving - you have to be prepared to lose your precious little characters when (not if) things go wrong. Better accept it from the start if you don't want to join the myriad of delusional conspiracy theorists trying to cope by blaming the RNG for their failures. Graphics have aged pretty decently for a decade-old indie game. The writing is pretty decent, though it tends to be shared via massive info-dumps before and after every story mission which some people may not have the patience to read or listen to. Speaking of, the story missions are definitely a weak part of the game - they have special objectives and endless reinforcements, making them a bit of a boring slog as you run around bringing quest items from one corner to another while fighting off enemy waves. There's also only 8 story maps in total which are recycled in a slightly different way for every campaign (2 acts of 4 missions each). So the first time it can be somewhat interesting, but by the 6th time (if you want to play every warband) you'll definitely be annoyed any time you do one. To this day, it's one of the very few Warhammer games featuring playable Skaven/Chaos/Undead (and the only one featuring playable Sisters of Sigmar to my knowledge) which makes it an additional incentive to get it if you like those factions. But even if you don't care for the fluff and the Warhammer universe at all, it's still a solid 8/10 as long as you enjoy difficult tactical games and can get past the jank. My only regret about the game is that they never made the Beastmen warband that was teased from the start by the intro cinematic.
