Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fishing contest impossible! Will be blowing my ♥♥♥♥ SMOOOOOOOOTH OFF if i dont get it in another 200 attempts, Edit: I did it 10/10 game
Former Squaresoft developers at what was considered to be their artistic zenith (after the release of games like Chrono Trigger, Live a Live, Super Mario RPG etc.) take a sidestep to craft among the most loving tributes and innovative deconstructions of the genre possibly ever. A must play to anyone intimately familiar with SNES/PS1 era JRPGs, or the modern indie (J)RPGs like Undertale which no doubt owe much to Moon.

Love-de-lic's style of "games" are so pretentious it's unreal. Why would anyone with any love for this medium want to create or play a game that is an "anti video game"? The premise is promising until the intro ends and you just wander around on a time limit, a time limit that straight up kills you and sends you back to your last save if you take more than 5 minutes to explore. All this encourages is using a guide, something I refuse to do on a first blind playthrough. Why even play the game at that point? Undertale gets similar criticism for critiquing the player on how they decide to play the game but that's the thing, the player actually has a choice (something even the devs understood in the far better successor Stray Children). Atleast it seems the unique qualities of this developer can come out in their other works (the aforementioned and Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love) without harassing the player for the crime of choosing to play their game.
what on earth did i just play
I might trigger some fans here, but I found it to be super confusing and jank with an unintuitive bad interface. I love Onion Games and this game is supposed to be groundbreakingly significant and different for its time (Undertale for one was partly inspired by this I believe), but I couldn't get into this. There's a lot of story (okay good) and then you walk around and try some things. Suddenly you're dead and you have to restart. Hardly anything is ever explained, but supposedly you have to get back to bed after some arbitrary invisible time or action limit? Any progress you made is then lost, too, because you just have to reload your last save. This feels like the game repeatedly resets your progress in ways that feel arbitrary, turning exploration into repetition instead of discovery. I mean it's a game from 1997, I think the re-release could have really benefitted from some QoL updates.
A game packed to the brim with beautiful visuals, nostalgic feeling music and charming dialogue sprinkled with meaningful texts along side it. If you're a fan of how Toby Fox writes for his games give this one a go since the writting of Moon is it's strongest trait.
A beautiful work of art that pushed the medium in a new direction. I can see it's influences in many other things like Undertale/Deltarune and maybe Petscop too. One of the most unique games I've played. It's full of charm. It is not for everyone however, it is easy to get stuck and you have to spend a lot of time wandering around to figure things out. You have to be patient for a lot of it like when playing Majora's Mask, and there's a lot of annoying parts too. But imo it's worth it, I had a lot of fun playing through it with one of my closest friends. I think this game is beautiful.
Favorite game I’ve played in a long time. Would call it a masterpiece if some of the 100% requirements weren’t so overly tedious but beyond that I have very little to complain about. Walking around exploring in this game listening to the moon discs is such an amazing atmosphere that I haven’t really experienced much like.
great game, definitely a must play if you are a deltarune fan it feels like a game that an indie dev would make nowadays as a meta criticism of video games, except it was made way before any of that kind of discussion hit the cultural zeitgeist so it is waaaayyyy ahead of it's time i really liked how this was sort of like a mixed media game where all of the "enemies" were claymation and everything else was pixel art, the music is also really good and being able to have your own mixtape to listen to while waiting around for stuff to happen was really nice, overall great game and can definitely see how it was an inspiration for other games
