Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Good morning and welcome to the Monorail Transit System connecting the Cities of M and L. This spectacular feat of engineering allows thousands to commute between the Cities each day and mingle with each other.
Every day a hundred new stories are born in the cars running on the track suspended above the Bay.
Every day extraordinary things happen to ordinary people. This is their story.

Silvie and Ahmal, from the City of M and the City of L. Two people who don't know each other, but still affect each other's lives through the monorail they share each day.
They commute between the cities each day at different times. Each day they choose who to talk to on the monorail, how to treat their fellow commuters, and what to do as the monorail makes its run over the Bay.
Each day is a new chapter in their shared story.

As you take control of Ahmal and Silvie each day, you'll meet dozens of people during the commute. How you choose to interact with them is up to you.
The choices you make on the monorail affect their stories - or rather, the shared story they inhabit and you create with every decision and every interaction, leading to one of the multiple endings for Ahmal and Silvie.

As the Monorail Stories unfold, so does the tale of the two cities linked by the track. The two city-states face upheaval and uncertainty, just like the people who pass between them on the monorail each day. Their destinies may very well be decided not by what the people do, but by how they treat one another.
A scenic ride to Nowhere, with plenty of time to regret boarding
"Monorail Stories" greets you with charming 8-bit visuals, the sort that whisper promises of nostalgia and quirky charm. Unfortunately, much like a real commute, the novelty wears off after the first few stops. What begins as a pixelated journey soon devolves into an endless loop of trudging left and right through nearly identical train cars, engaging in dialogues so inconsequential they could be replaced by elevator music without loss. The game proudly offers controller-only controls, as if shunning the mouse were some daring design statement. In reality, it’s less “bold choice” and more “hope you enjoy thumb gymnastics while reading paragraphs of dialogue.” For a title so heavy on conversation, the lack of intuitive navigation feels like designing a library where all the books are behind locked glass. Story progression ambles forward at the pace of a distracted tortoise, with decisions carrying all the weight of a “paper or plastic” checkout query. Even players who relish slow-burn narratives may find themselves wondering if the monorail is, in fact, running in circles. By the end, "Monorail Stories" feels less like an adventure and more like public transport—functional in theory, but not something you’d ride for fun. It’s a charming ticket to tedium, and I’d recommend saving your fare for a more engaging journey.

I really like this game. I have played through it about 10 times, because although it takes less than an hour to beat, I am now enjoying trying to unlock all the different achievements and endings. I read that the game was a kickstarter project, and I have to congratulate the developers on making a great, well rounded and polished game. The pixel graphics are great. I bought the soundtrack because it was excellent. The story is simple but good, and I feel emotionally attached to the characters. I am considering naming my next child Silvie!
I thought it had potential as a multiplayer game but when playing with a friend it was less interesting and more difficult to figure out what we were supposed to do. It's a slow game and probably best for solo play when a player wants to kill time or relax. The mini-game at the platform held more excitement for both of us playing.

Lent, poussif, plat, vide...
Good, but not that good. My biggest issue with this game is that you need to replay a lot to get the achievements. It's a good story if you only play one time. It get's boring when replayed, you can't skip, you have to replay the whole game. So repetitive, your choices barely change the main plot and different endings are so short, just a couple of new texts. I like the concept, has nice voices, music and graphics.
