Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Momo.EXE 2 is a critique of capitalism, and that you can never be free from a 'boss' in the capitalistic system. In the beginning sequence, you complete tasks for Momo, so that you are able to finish your work and send it off to your boss. You are willing to destroy your office, potentially endangering yourself (or potentially others), in order to make sure your get your work sent off. The desperation of keeping your job, to stay of the streets, reeks off of your character as they become desperate to fulfill the task. After this sequence, it is shown that Momo has killed your boss, which shocks your character as they are likely to get fired (or arrested) if they are believed to be the murderer. Momo then ends up playing a cruel trick, acting as if she is going to kill your, before telling you that it is a 'joke' and exclaims "you have done a good job, go home", signifying that she is the character's new boss. In the second sequence of MOMO.EXE 2, you wake up, believing that it was simply all a dream (likely due to your character commonly having nightmares associated with work-stress, ) before Momo texts you and says that you are not free yet (signifying that a job is never done, and that a boss will work you to death if they can). Your character is then instructed to complete a list of tasks personal tasks under the threat of losing their livelihood (which signifies the abuse of power that many bosses present), before you are finally instructed to cause your own death. This sequence is in the game to represent the ~10-15% of suicides a year that are caused by work related stress; however; instead of escaping your job, in a cruel spurt of irony, you are forced to work for Momo forever in 'her world'. The death sequence is to show that you are never not someone's property, and even if you are dead, your likeness may still be used to lead: propaganada, commercials, and dispsosable goods.

Actually infuriating. The first game was a bit janky but nothing was unfair or hard. This second game introduced small parkour mechanics REQUIRED for the final chase that was downright cruel. The jump button? Works half the time I push it. Momo was always chasing you so if you go into the dungeon room with her too close (which is hard to tell, she makes little noise unless straight on you and your flashlight just doesn't work beyond an inch) you're just straight dead. No chance to juke her, and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stairs are too high so you have to jump up at least three times to leave. And remember what doesn't work half the time??? When you're on a time crunch before she corners you???? It was downright awful and not even worth the 80 cents I got it on sale. I legit have not rage quit a game over JUMPING, but Momo.exe 2 proved that there's a first for everything. It's boring, poorly put together, and the last chase in her world is downright insulting to my time.
