About
The only thought left is: GO UP.
The building has thirty floors. Your body has problems - hunger, thirst, exhaustion. The infection doesn’t care. It only wants altitude.
Your body is in shambles... but the foot keeps climbing.
The building is not haunted. The people in it are not monsters - and they want things. Junk. Food. Favors. Someone to do something mildly humiliating to their neighbor.
A few of them know things they shouldn't. And maybe what they know has something in common.
You're the only one collecting the pieces.
The building is the same every time you climb it. The neighbors are the same. The trades are the same. The vending machine on the ground floor has the same stock.
What changes is what you know.
Every run, you learn something. A shortcut. A better trade. An item you thought was useless until it saved your life. Slowly, the building starts to make sense.
You’ll know what to do next time.
But your foot isn’t waiting.
MOLDRISE features a full-length original soundtrack, composed by Mike Klubnika, creator of Buckshot Roulette, s.p.l.i.t., and Machine Party.
First-person survival horror. Retro aesthetics. A thirty-floor apartment building with no empty floors and no happy endings.

I like this style of game, creepy and funny and really weird. The going back and forth might be a little annoying, but it's still not too bad once you know to manage your resources.
This is hands down one of the best things I have played in a while. I cant decide wether its a gritty story driven roguelite or art project (with some super funny dialogue). It is truly a fresh experience in a sea full of sameish games. Just play it! It is totally worth the money.

Real good.
love the art style and the premise is also great, finished it in about 3 hours and got all he achievements. seriously a great game to explore in and find out what's happening. runs great on steam deck
Really enjoyed this one. It feels like a developer who really honed their craft to create this. It's sort of like an hors d'oeuvre - bite-sized, but potent and lingering in memory if done right (and this one is). Also, really nice immersion with a unique artstyle, that's what it's all about. Kudos to Mr. Picca. Will be following for more games in the future.
An absolute nightmare... and I loved it. Great (simple) ideas, very disgusting, and a very good sense of humor. Certainly in my top 3 of the Indie Games list for 2026. Can't wait to see the next game.
Moldrise is a short but incredibly memorable game with beautiful graphics, a strong visual style, and an excellent soundtrack. The character writing is also surprisingly good, and I enjoyed learning more about the world through the main story and the fun side quests. The gameplay loop is extremely addictive. Every death made me want to improve, experiment with new strategies, and figure out better ways to overcome each obstacle. I enjoyed the game enough to hunt down every achievement and even attempted a few speedruns afterward. Although the main game is relatively short, there is still plenty to do for players who enjoy exploration, side content, achievement hunting, and replaying games to improve their times. Moldrise is a great experience that respects your time while still giving you plenty of reasons to keep playing. Highly recommended.
A short, solid experience, I really enjoyed the vibe and knowledge-based progression.
The game was enjoyable! but as for the price and amount of content I'd say it doesn't quite match. Hoping for more content/modes soon.
