Another modern classic, Mirror's Edge has a lot of style for a game from 2008, very few games have ever adopted this style of first person parkour gameplay.
I've replayed this game 10 times on the 360 its such a work of art. i would put it up there with portal and portal 2. the sequel is also just as amazing, although difficult.

My pc is more than capable of running this game, but I ran into so many issues. The game stutters frequently when indoors and I can't even count anymore how many times my game/pc crashed because of this game. I suspected that i'd run into some issues, since it's an older game. But I didn't expect this horrendous experience.
Could be amazing, i see that. But absolutely no graphics settings. I played it on Steam deck, which is verified, and got 10 frames at most when the cops starting breaking glass, which happens a lot.
One of EA's best works; a game that continues to occasionally occupy my mind after all these years: as a free-flowing parkour game, as an artistic muse, and as a political statement against authoritarianism and pervasive surveillance (quite ironic, considering how Saudi Arabia now owns EA). The game's weakest parts are definitely the combat and narrative - the former feeling awkward and clunky, and the latter being predictable and poorly-paced. Though I'd normally give it a 7 or 8, Mirror's Edge holds a special place in my heart. Therefore, I rate it a biased 9/10.
