Absolutely beautiful MV game. Bosses are punishing but learnable, and once you get the hang of the "dodge" the game's combat truly begins to flow. The only real bit of forced monotony the game makes you deal with is the high amount of back-travel needed to fully complete the game, with fast travel points being unnecessarily neutered. Sound design is excellent, story is compelling (if you search for it), visuals are very pretty. Highly recommended for any and all MV fans. Also, anyone familiar with HK's Path of Pain is in for a treat.
I've never been a big fan of Metroidvanias, but the art design and music (along with the great price) convinced me to buy the game. I am blown away. I often find myself captivated by stories in games, but very seldom am I as emotionally burdened as I was by this game. The incredible lore, the incredible, yet challenging, gameplay, and the incredible art and sound design come together to make this game what I would consider to be a masterpiece must-play for Metroidvania fans and critics alike.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I LOVED THAT YOU CAN EXPLORE SO MUCH IN JUST ONE AREA
Its pretty good but it does have some noticeable bugs and balancing problems, mostly regarding the parkour challenges. No other game has made me feel this much like the journalist that spent six hours on Hornet.
GREATTTT i would play it again but im to lazy
So in Nine Sols everyone was dead, mutated and/or in denial, in this other dystopian stellar metroidvania, everyone is dead, tired and/or sad. The story is great, the art and the music are full of wonder and the feeling of having a stroke 5 times in a row is nicely captured. I would say that the game has more complexity in the platforming than in the combat, an in the endgame the real bosses are 5 paths of pain, which really helps me to confirm that I'm less of a masochist than I expected. The only sin of this game is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ runback time to some bosses or zones, sadly it fails to bring me joy watching the same elevator go up 20 times.
Absolutely spectacular metroidvania. Great gameplay, great sound design, and most of all amazing visual design. However, this game can be very difficult and frustating and I do not recommend if you are new to metroidvania's and platformers. Yet I still had a blast playing this game, highly recommend to anyone looking for a challenge.
Amazing game with some really breathtaking scenery, a really interesting story, and lore that dips into the unsettling themes that Nine Sols touches on. I will say having been spoiled rotten by Silksongs platforming and combat and Nine Sols' fluid parry system I did take some issue with how the combat felt a little stilted sometimes and the visual effects, while pretty, did sometimes make boss telegraphs hard to read especially for the bosses who were smaller in stature. Really minor complaints though, still plan to 100% this game and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes metroidvanias in the soulslike genre, this game will kick. Your. Ass. And do so in a spectacular way with some Ori-reminiscent mechanics and platforming abilities I have not seen other games pull off
The game was actually good as the hype around it. Also if you see it on sale for around 15 or less get it since you will not regret it. on the other hand my only con with it is save system the zones use an novel ranking system for the check point to not be kicked back to lesser check points. so i am not an fan of this system as an whole. think its kinda meah at most as an new check point system, so level 2 to have fast travel. lastly some zones are locked behind hidden zoned items too that can be slightly annying to get an find. over all its still an decent game.
