Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 1 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

my steam bugged out and the game ran in the background for 95 hours straight.
이 게임을 하면서 약간은 짜증이 났지만, 게임 자체는 많이 어려운 것은 아닙니다. 약간의 끈기를 가지고 계속 시도하다 보면 각 레벨을 클리어하게 되어 있습니다.

Midnight is a minimalist puzzle platformer developed and published by Petite Games that proves a simple concept can still deliver an intense and highly engaging challenge. Built around physics-based movement and precision-focused gameplay, the game strips away unnecessary distractions and concentrates entirely on skill, timing, and careful control. Players take control of a tiny glowing fairy trapped within dangerous monochrome environments filled with spikes, saws, and deadly obstacles. Although the presentation initially appears simple, the experience quickly reveals itself to be a demanding test of patience and accuracy that rewards persistence and mastery. The gameplay revolves around an unusual mouse-controlled movement system where players launch the protagonist through levels by adjusting direction and force. Instead of traditional platforming mechanics involving jumping and running, every movement becomes a calculated action based on momentum and trajectory. This control scheme immediately gives the game a distinctive identity because success depends on understanding physics and precision rather than relying solely on fast reflexes. At first the mechanics may feel awkward, especially for players more familiar with standard platformers, but after spending time with the system, movement begins to feel surprisingly satisfying and responsive. Each level is designed as a compact challenge filled with carefully positioned hazards that require accurate movement and strong timing. The game gradually introduces more difficult layouts and obstacle combinations, constantly encouraging players to refine their technique. Early stages focus on teaching the fundamentals of aiming and movement, while later levels become significantly more demanding, requiring near-perfect execution to survive. Despite the increasing difficulty, the level design remains fair because failures almost always feel like the result of player mistakes rather than poor design. This balance between challenge and fairness is one of Midnight’s greatest strengths. The minimalist visual style plays an important role in establishing the game’s atmosphere. Environments are dominated by dark backgrounds and glowing hazards, creating a stark contrast that keeps attention focused entirely on movement and survival. The simplicity of the visuals helps prevent distractions while also giving the game a moody and almost dreamlike tone. Rather than trying to impress through graphical complexity, Midnight succeeds through clarity and artistic consistency. The glowing fairy moving through dark spaces creates a striking visual identity that fits the game’s isolated and tense atmosphere perfectly. Another major strength is the pacing. Levels are short and restart instantly after failure, which keeps frustration manageable even during the most difficult sequences. The quick retry system encourages experimentation and makes repeated attempts feel natural instead of exhausting. This design philosophy gives the game an addictive rhythm where players constantly feel motivated to improve after every mistake. Even extremely difficult stages remain engaging because the game respects the player’s time and minimizes interruptions between attempts. The soundtrack complements the gameplay surprisingly well. Ambient music and subtle sound effects create a calm yet mysterious atmosphere that contrasts with the intense precision required during gameplay. Instead of overwhelming players with loud or aggressive audio, the soundtrack remains understated and atmospheric, helping maintain focus during difficult sections. This combination of relaxing music and stressful gameplay creates a strange emotional balance where frustration and concentration coexist in an oddly satisfying way. Midnight also deserves credit for how effectively it builds depth from a single core mechanic. The game never relies on elaborate storytelling, complex progression systems, or unnecessary features to maintain engagement. Everything revolves around mastering movement and overcoming increasingly dangerous obstacles. This focused design approach helps the experience feel polished and intentional. Every level exists to expand upon the same central gameplay concept, allowing the challenge to remain consistently engaging without becoming overly complicated. However, the game’s narrow focus may also limit its appeal. Players who dislike trial-and-error gameplay or highly demanding precision challenges may struggle to enjoy the experience. Some later levels require repeated attempts and extremely accurate control, which can become frustrating for less patient players. Since the gameplay remains mechanically simple throughout the entire experience, those seeking narrative depth or gameplay variety may eventually find the formula repetitive. Midnight succeeds primarily because of its execution rather than the complexity of its content. Still, for players who appreciate skill-based indie platformers, the game offers a rewarding experience built around improvement and mastery. There is a satisfying sense of progression that comes from learning how to better control momentum and navigate increasingly complex hazards. The challenge feels meaningful because success is entirely dependent on the player’s growing understanding of the mechanics rather than random elements or artificial upgrades. Midnight ultimately stands out as a compact but memorable indie title that demonstrates the strength of focused game design. Its combination of atmospheric presentation, clever level construction, and demanding precision gameplay creates an experience that remains engaging despite its simplicity. The minimalist style may appear modest at first glance, but underneath it lies a carefully designed platformer that rewards patience, concentration, and determination. Players willing to embrace its unconventional controls and unforgiving difficulty curve will likely find a deeply satisfying challenge hidden within its dark and elegant world. Rating: 8/10
This is a most under rated game. Simple golf like game, with circular saws, bottomless pitts, and lovely piano music. And snow, if you like. Very calming and challenging at the same time... good to relax too. Depending on how you take it, it will lower your blood pressure, or insight blind rage.... go for the peaceful path ... [ :-) ] The Little Glowing Cube may remind you of Atari 2600 ADVENTURE main character, avoiding deadly ducks ! (dragons) [ ] >-- In a Word: FUN
