Great megaman game on low budget Have you wonder or wish Megaman and his robot master are females instead? If so then look no further for this game has it. Story: 3/5 This game has some level story telling which is decent for $4 dollars game. Like megaman, you play as Metagal who wasn't aware that she is battle droid and must save her family while defeating main villain. Presentation and graphics : 3/5 The characters look somewhat fuzzy on cutscene which is understandable since it only use less than 40 MB. The game shines on the graphics which looks way better than 8-bit era of Megaman NES and GB days. The character designs looks great on various characters and background. The only problem here is that some look to silly and some looks too similar when comparing to megaman enemies. However some characters design are major improvement such as megaman's Sniper Joe to Fighter of Fire. Gameplay: 4/5 Just like Megaman, you can upgrade Metagal abilities by finding these special items and defeating the GAL masters to gain their power ups. Unlike Megaman, you don't have to worry about finding energy for your GAL masters' weapons for it automatically recharge which you can still find energy for them if you want to. The game does not use extra lives but it has check points and you can use golden gears to revive yourself in certain area of the game. You can also use these golden gears to heal yourself many times you want which you can carry up to 99 if you wish to do so. The best part of this game you can play as GAL masters once you have beaten the game which they have their own strengths and weakness which you can upgrade their abilities as well. You can play using the keyboard or game controller which I used PS4 controller without any issues. Music: 3/5 The music is decent for nothing really standout compare to many major franchise or some indie games. Final thoughts: Best not to compare this game to late 16-bit era of Megaman games but the game did well enough to earn a sequel. It took me nearly 9 hours to complete this where many of megaman non 3d games usually takes less than 5 hours to complete 100% of the game.
