One of the most charming and original games I've played in a long, long time. I adored the art, music, and story and truly felt so immersed in the small, creepy little world Rain created. I've very glad I bought this at full price so that even MORE of my money goes to them.

Genuinely a really nice experience with lots of charm and style. Right off the bat I was hit with music that was quick to grow on me. It has a really soothing tune that kept my attention well enough that it unsettled me at moments where it either stopped or switched up on me. And the witch, Mesmer, is definetly a highlight as well with her design being super cute and more expressive than anything that I've seen in a while. Storywise, it isn't anything too deep. There isn't much for the imagination to work with the further in you get. But it does keep you on the edge of your seat enough to want to find out what happened prior to you starting. I also want to note that Mesmalie has a much more surreal feel than anything scary as the horror is more sparse compared to other games. Not that it's a bad thing ofcourse. And a lot of dialogue choices get mentioned later on. Only thing that I wasn't big on was that final segment for the true ending. It was a huge switch up of gameplay that I was not ready for and boy did it stress me out. But it wasn't horrible. Really good game that is worth checking out.
